Best part about Huntington is it's south facing so you get massive ing waves when there is a storm in Baja. On a side note I loved Redondo for the opposite reason, since it's west facing it's great for just being lazy riding the swells on a warm day.

What's the allure of living in an overpopulated, super condensed metropolis like NYC?
It's probably just me, but I like to let my nuts breathe and walk freely, but I don't understand the sardine-can desire of some folk. It's like living in a herd of cattle to be honest, just less sanitary.
And, secondly, after/if this is over, do you still have the desire to live in NYC and continue risking life and freedom of movement?

This is precisely why I love it here and wouldn't think of moving just yet.
You can have it both ways here. You're never really alone but you do have your own space. People are good about minding their own business both outside and when at home.
Not sure what you mean risking life or freedom of movement. I do plan on continuing to live here. My whole family, work life is here so I'm not going to uproot my way of life just yet.
I do have plans to move to a place where there is pleasant wheather year round. Laser focus on Hawaii.
