Translation: "I snuck back in to keep saying the same stupid I was banned for because I am so smart"
translation: you’re a sad old lonely man who has nothing else but your online persona at spurstalk.

When did you decide that the oath you swore was no longer important to you?

unless current GOP officials are involved, there's not much effect short term.

tbh, it's hard for me to see Rs not voting for other Rs because they are 2020 election truthers. the vast majority would rather possess power than the truth, and if the truth gets in the way, so much the worse for the truth.

    its Trump's GOP now.

The party will eventually survive that lying piece of .
Eventually, but by enforcing a standard of swearing fealty to Trump republicans are ensuring that this process will take as long as possible. I don't think the Republican politicians already in office care though. They just care about the next election and allegiance to Trump is how they maximize their chances. I think congressional republicans are content with the prospect of being the minority party for the foreseeable future, so long as their personal seats on the taxpayer gravy train are secure.

It looks more like they are setting themselves up for a permanent minority party rule.

^ Certainly possible. They're definitely not going to get back in power trying to build from the rural/uneducated base.

Save for a small handful of social issues, abortion being the most notable, conservatism is dead. Republicans don't stand for anything other than hating democrats these days.

yep, "owning the libs", plus "FundRaging" on social issues to get vote, but the priority keeping the bribes coming from BigDonor class.

Actual governing has been no concern of Repugs for 30 years.

Would have been the case until Democrats goofed with the wokeness. Majority of people disagree with the super sensitive and obsessed over skin color society Democrats are molding. A central reason why Trump won in 2016 and if not for Covid, would still be in office.

The Yahoo News/YouGov poll found that only 17 percent of Republicans thought Cheney, a Wyoming Republican, should have stayed in a leadership position in the House GOP, which stripped her of the post this week.
