Last year pistons were down 2-1 going to a fired up indy crowd. Teams will always have bumps, but the spurs have to find a guy who will get ticked off and take it to the kings. For the pistons its SHEED, but you guys need to find someone who can energize the team.

normaly it would be manu but right now hes being bottled up by Artest. on the defensive end bowen usually gives them energy but he cant guard bonzi or Artest. maybe they can sign SHEED to a 10 day contract.

iam sorry to say but we simply do not have thay type of firey player...manu can be at times but when he has a bad game this emotions get the best of him. we had mario elie in the past, sjax, and how can we forget malik rose, who all used to get this team riled up.
our freakin superstar is unemotional which affects the rest of the team. we just stand around and watch while our players get bumped and pushed around. as much as we all hate him, we really do need a ron artest type player. a guy who will step up and take charge.

Wrong. On any given night, anyone other than Rasho, Nazr and Bruce can be the go to guy. I'll laugh my ass off if Barry drops 7 straight 3pt shots in Game 5 like he did in that Portland game. Finley has saved games and so has Tim and Tony. And Manu has something to prove now that we're back on home court. It can be anyone.

J.T. its not about being a go to guy or who can drop 3s. its about being that emotional leader. getting into our players faces and get this riled up, show some fire and intensity. right now we have NOONE on the bench with those characteristics. rasho, oberto, beno, barry, finley, bowen, parker? who is gonna step up and take charge?

i think speedy claxton coming off the bench or bobby jackson for this team would be awesome. their games are all about energy.

Wait -- who did the Spurs have last year that fit that bill, other than Manu?

fromwaydowntown, even 1 player can make a difference...last year Manu was the man. he was dominating teams and his dominance rubbed off on the team. right now manu is struggling and he is frustrated with himself. if you are not playing well, how can you tell your team to start playing well? that hypocritical. here is an example...game 2...we were down, manu started to get going and the team responded, right? manu started yelling and screaming after he made shots and that got the team going.
