I see nothing wrong with this.
Has anyone been scanned by the porno machines yet?
Pilot unions at two of the nation's largest airlines are advising their members not to submit to body scanners at airport security checkpoints as tension grows over what they see as intrusive or risky checks.
Unions representing pilots at American Airlines and US Airways have advised their more than 14,000 members to avoid the scanners, which peer beneath clothing, and instead get a pat down from Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers.
That has created additional problems as some pilots have complained that the hand searches, which were altered by TSA starting Nov. 1, are invasive. One US Airways pilot said he felt as though he had been "sexually molested" by the pat down, said Mike Cleary, president of the US Airline Pilots Association.
"Our members are just absolutely outraged," Cleary said.
David Bates, president of American's Allied Pilots Association, said the TSA hand search is "a demeaning experience," but he also is urging his members to avoid the scanners. The unions have told members to ask that the pat downs be done in private.
The unions argue that the machines are "intrusive" and that they could emit dangerous radiation. A recent Food and Drug Administration review found that the radiation level was so low — some machines emit no radiation — that it posed no health threat.
The nation's largest pilot's union, the Air Line Pilots Association, is working with the TSA to find alternative screening methods but has not told members to avoid the scanners, President John Prater said.
The controversy is the latest flare-up in a long battle by pilots to streamline or eliminate the screening they receive. They argue that if they receive background checks, they should be able to enter the airport without undergoing security checks.
The TSA has tested such a program, but it is currently not funded. Prater says he is calling on airline CEOs and the government to pay for it.
Not all security experts support giving pilots or other airline employees special dispensation at security checkpoints.
The TSA issued a statement saying its security measures must consider "our enemy is creative and willing to go to great lengths to evade detection." TSA Administrator John Pistole has been reviewing security policies since taking office recently and is discussing alternatives with pilots, the statement said.

There was another thread about this a while back. All I remember were scanner pics of a large woman that were...well...troubling.
Ooops., you're correct. It was in the political forum. Kori, you can delete this one if you want.
Next time I'm flying, I will take a load of L-Arginine beforehand, jsut to see if the stewardess will suck my
I mean, in porn movies, when chicks notice a huge , it leads to sex
It can happen in real life
Right?
You mean it hasn't happen to you yet?
Thread le made me think they were remaking the 80's horror film as adult movie. A film about people with the power to makes heads throb and explode seems a bit of an obvious choice.
I'm actually at an airport right now. It's not some machine they have off to the side, or alternate option. Theyve replaced the metal detectors with these things. It wasn't until a few seconds after I stood in the machine, that I remembered what it was. There was no consent, no sign, no information given. That's such a gross invasion of privacy and I submitted to it. I feel like , not so much that some people saw my penis, but that I willingly walked in there like a ing tool and encouraged this bull . Invasion for the sake of what? I'm not any safer, and I'm not looking to give up my goddamn rights for some convenience or illusion of safety. you, TSA. you up your stupid asses.
Next time I go to the airport I'm going to do a little shimmy dance when I go through this thing!
Who really cares if your peepee looks funny or small in a body scanner machine? It's a bunch of dudes running the machine, if they make any comment whatsoever they are the dudes with a problem.
Like I'd really put my 15 year old daughter in one of those things. They'd end up tasing me for sure.![]()
non issue if you're a male
I would think that most women are desensitized with what they go through at the doctor that a body scanner is nothing. I would rather they look than touch.
Take your shoes off. Don't bring liquids. Pose for the TSA pervert. What the next? What's going to happen after some Al Quaida puts explosives up his ass and then lights a fart?
I chose the pat down back in August in the Buffalo airport. Probably going to have to go through the scanner at SEA-TAC in about a week. Not looking forward to that.
I'd still like to know what illegal object started this whole ing mess to start with.
Right on!
I'm going to do the devil horns when I go through! \m/
The alternative is they can do a pat down. They check underneath s, squeeze the nipples, etc.
Stop giving them ideas.
Me too. What started this paranoia?
I think it was the attempted "underwear bomber"
also there was that airport employee who got pissed off at and beat the out of a coworker that laughed at him and made fun of his little peepee when he walked through one of those things
Problem is, it won't detect the explosives that he used. What's the point? Honestly, I really don't care for myself, but for my daughter, step-daughter, and wife I don't like this.
too many other more important things to worry about in life
It's either the porno picture booth or a pretty hardcore patdown/molestation..... They leave nothing untouched.
