Been playing well for the Austin Spurs. Audition for that open roster spot I suppose.

He will find some playing time in 2023, right behind Tre.

Eh, not bad. Not an exciting prospect but he's advanced enough to buy a few minutes here and there. Haven't seen enough good from him to give more than a 10-day contract to, though.

He's a swingman not purely a SG like Lonnie, DeJounte (body type), Derrick (body type) or Keldon (body type).

He'll be able to soak up some back up 2 or 3 minutes while we wait for Lonnie to get healthy. I'm hoping that they try to find a combo forward of some sort.

The dude is 6'7" (w/o shoes) and 225 lbs. He's close to the size of Rudy Gay and bigger than all our current guards (even Devin Vassell).

I'm just not sure who is available that would be worth a look at.

Needed wing depth if Rudy is going to be a center from now on.

Watched him a lot. Gets tunnel visioned when he has the ball. Pure scorer. So confident that he'll shoot from anywhere. Who was the guy who liked this guy in the Austin Spurs thread? BackHome mo7888

If this was the plan all along, who cares what they did with that trade with Golden State?

We basically get a guy who already knows the playbook. If he exceeds expectations, he's probably a lock for our two way contract next year. He could very well spell Lonnie when he's off or being too passive. Shooting is our problem. Cam solves that if he gets minutes. Guy does not hesitate at all.

He's more like 6'8" in shoes then? I'm reading he can truly guard all of the 2/3/4 with his slightly above average wingspan.

Don't expect lockdown defense but he does sometimes poke the ball free with his length and gets some anticipation steals from passing lanes.

As long as it means less minutes for Lyles, I don't care if the Spurs bring back Mengke Bateer.

I thought he might be a 10 day while Diop recovered from his hamstring pull. Recall he was a training camp invite earlier along with Diop and the Spurs chose Diop over him and signed him down with the G-League team. Makes sense to me although we really need a center to back up Jak.

I guess your boy Renfro didn’t make it I like Reynolds actually better with scoring which we need, spacing and all. If we could morph his offense with Renfro’s defense, we could have a decent NBA 2way wing

Nah he was signed and waived for specially to play at Austin. I actually like this guy. I think 6’7 with 7’2 wingspan? And his stroke is sweet. Pretty smooth offensive scorer. Reminds me of Willie Anderson but shorter.

Being shorter than Willie might allow him to shoot the three without the toe on the line. Willie was the king of the tie on the line.

Yeah, hopefully he works hard to develop his shot. Love his defense, I think Luka took notes

Nah this kid is taller and more athletic than Willie. I meant Willie was shorter . I remember when everybody’s name was -son, Cadillac, Willie, Greg, then the following year, Robinson
