Portland doesn’t deserve to make playoffs losing to that lineup

Results for the Clippers for playing hard... either way... we can't blame anyone besides ourselves. We had almost all of our guys for most of the season. No excuse for being 10 games under 0.500

If the Blazers win tomorrow they probably win out and take the 9th seed imo. I don't see them losing to the mavs or Nets. Best shot is tomorrow, assuming the Sixers play their full lineup.

No, we need to win out and have the Blazers lose at least 1 more game.

Portland and the Spurs each have three games left.

Whoever has the better record in those three games will get the 9 seed (ties go to Portland).*

    * Leaving out NO and Pho -- if either Portland or the Spurs go 3-0 they're both done.

The best the @spurs can do, winning% wise, if they win out is .465

    Grizzlies

If my math is correct only way to catch Grizzlies now is if they lose their last 3 games which would put their win% at 0.4520

If they go 1-2 their win% will be 0.4657 (rounded to .466).

Spurs win out would only have win% of 0.4647 (rounded to .465)
    Blazers

    If Blazers go 1-3 = win% 0.4459

    2-2 = win% 0.4594

    3-1 = win% 0.4729
So Spurs would need either Grizzlies to go 0-3 in their last 3 games or Blazers go 2-2 or worse in their last 4 games for Spurs to make play-in.

I can see the Rockets throwing to avoid the Clippers in the 2nd round (locking into the 4th seed).

If Rockets seeding can't change (up or down) and they like their matchup in playoffs, might rest players vs Spurs.

Haven't looked into it but hopefully that's the case. D'Antoni might do us a solid and rest players.

Spurs having to win out PLUS have either Portland or Memphis to falter, yeah, probably not happening.

Also, "Basketball means nothing in the big picture of it all and in the grand scheme of things." might rear its ugly head.
