Moscow Mitch wants to put in legislation so employers can’t be sued for not providing the PPE that the Trash administration failed to secure.

Not in a hospital with COVID-19 patients and other vulnerable people.
You're really bead at this.
the Trash Pandemic
President’s intelligence briefing book repeatedly cited virus threat
U.S. intelligence agencies issued warnings about the novel coronavirus
in more than a dozen classified briefings
prepared for President Trump in January and February, months during which he continued to play down the threat
For weeks, the PDB — as the report is known —
traced the virus’s spread around the globe,
made clear that China was suppressing information about the contagion’s transmissibility and lethal toll, and
raised the prospect of dire political and economic consequences.
the president, who routinely skips reading the PDB and
has at times shown little patience for even the oral summary he takes two or three times per week
part of a broader collection of worrisome signals that came during a period now regarded by many public health officials and other experts as
a squandered opportunity to contain the outbreak.

the Trash Pandemic
How Trump and His Team Covered Up the Coronavirus in Five Days
The president and senior officials manipulated Americans and played down the severity of the pandemic.
Over the last five days of February, President Trump and senior officials did something more sinister:
They engaged in a cover-up.
insight into how several members of the president’s team were willing to manipulate Americans even when so many lives were at stake.
the president wanted to fire the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s top expert on viral respiratory diseases, Dr. Nancy Messonnier, during this period helps put the pieces of the puzzle together.
What was her offense to the president?
Dr. Messonnier spoke frankly.
“We want to make sure the American public is prepared,” she said,
what she told her children that morning:
“We as a family ought to be preparing for significant disruption to our lives.”
At the time, senior officials knew the coronavirus was an extreme threat to Americans.
Thanks to information streaming in from U.S. intelligence agencies for months,
officials reportedly believed that a “cataclysmic” disease could infect 100 million Americans and discussed lockdown plans.
The warnings were given to Mr. Trump
in his daily brief by the intelligence community;
in calls from Alex Azar, the secretary of health; and
in memos from his economic adviser Peter Navarro.
the military’s National Center for Medical Intelligence
raised the warning level inside the government to WATCHCON1,
concluding that the coronavirus was
imminently likely to develop into a full-blown pandemic.
But the White House did not want the American public to know.
the president’s top advisers took to the airwaves with a united purpose: to deny the truth.
Mr. Azar ... discussed Dr. Messonnier’s comments.
“We’re trying to engage in radical transparency with the American public as we go through this,”
But within 20 seconds of that statement, he uttered state propaganda.
“Thanks to the president and this team’s aggressive containment efforts,” he said, coronavirus “is contained.”
Larry Kudlow, ... in direct response to Dr. Messonnier’s comments, told CNBC:
“We have contained this. I won’t say airtight, but pretty close to airtight.”
the president to lie to the public.
“You have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.
That’s a pretty good job we’ve done,”
He and Mr. Azar would continue to make such assurances over the next two days
for five days, the president along with some of his closest senior officials disseminated an egregiously false message to Americans.
The messaging would continue well beyond those days
until the stark images of refrigerated morgue trucks and
ed lines on colored graphs showed the escalating numbers of cases and dead.

The left doesn't mind leaving out the governor of NY.
lol I would love to see what other "models" he was looking at if this one was his most liberal
What's there to defend? At the time I made the comment deaths by probable covid were not being counted. And I don't bail these threads when my predictions don't pan out. I still haven't seen MannyIsGod since the three weeks passed and we weren't at 150K as he predicted.
three states are counting probable deaths.
Statistically irrelevant. How do you feel about the IHME model now?
statistically irrelevant
"New York City, already a world epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, sharply increased its death toll by more than 3,700 victims on Tuesday, after officials said they were now including people who had never tested positive for the virus but were presumed to have died of it.
The new figures, released by the city’s Health Department, drove up the number of people killed in New York City to more than 10,000, and appeared to increase the overall United States death count by 17 percent to more than 26,000."

I still feel the IHME model is .
What's your favorite COVID-19 model? I'm keen to see others.
Statistically irrelevant, like I said. We're at 61k right now with another day to report.
Well last time you thought they were on the high end of predictions. Are they still " " that way, or are they on the low end? Tune us all in to your researchI still feel the IHME model is .
