Retire the jersey of a player who never got you to the playoffs. Are the Wolves retiring Kevin Love's as well?
Not official yet, but we know it's going to happen. One ring = jersey retirement.

Well, he did hit the single biggest shot in franchise history, so there's that. Having said that, I think they should retire the number 16 to honor the 2016 NBA Champs and leave it at that.
He got them a ring, son.
No offense, but that's lame.
Don't underestimate the damaging influence:
Why? Is Speedy Claxton's number retired?
None taken, it's not like they're going to do it anyway.
Kyrie made of the NBA's all-time 10 clutch shots in league history, so yeah it'll happen.
Speedy and Vaughn were niche defense PGs for specificially whenever teams took TP out of the game by exposing him on defense.
TJ Ford was the same type of player, we had him for awhile in 2012 before he sadly suffered the Kam Chancellor type of career ending vertebrae injury.
You've nary room. The Spurs retired Porker's number.
Bull . He never saw the light of day beyond the regular season until Lebron took him by the hand. Is Ron Artest's jersey going to be retired in LA? He did the same for them.
Tony has a finals MVP. Finals... that's what happens past the 2nd round btw
We were ahead of our time
We invented today’s NBA
So why haven't the Spurs retired Boobie Gibson's number yet? That's the only reason he has one.
Kyrie was 1B. Pau doesn't win those back to backs without his 1B either.
To Kyrie's credit he did hit the "big shot". I think it's a bit premature to evaluate his impact. I'm a bit torn on it tbh.
Kyrie didn't just close out the series, he also averaged 27 PPG in the 2016 Finals against one of the best teams of all time.
Kind of off topic, but I think it's bs that the Lakers count the 5 Minneapolis Lakers rings to their ring count but don't retire George Mikan's Jersey. If they don't recognize and respect the Minneapolis Lakers players, then they shouldn't count those 5 banners they contributed to their total.
Didn't Shaq get his jersey retired in Miami? He only played there 2 in a half years. So I don't see why Kyrie can't get his jersey retired with the Cavs then.
