What needs to sink in for Spurs fans:

We beat the out of 3 of our 4 biggest rivals en route to le including crushing LeBron's Heat by a record-setting amount. We didn't get to play the 4th (Lakers) because they were busy trying not to finish dead last in the west.

We also beat the Suns at the end of the season to make sure they couldn't make the playoffs, while the 7 and 8 seeds had a grueling dogfight to ensure they got to play OKC instead of us in the first round.


This was literally the most satisfying possible season for a Spurs fan.
