I'll allow this, because I love the summer league more than I do the regular season. However, I'll keep this a general discussion thread rather than a potential UDFA thread.
To be in this thread - players who will likely go undrafted (although we should think about them with the 59), but really might make it in the NBA... Therefore we should be trying to get them into Summer Camp and onto the Austin Spurs
1) Dameyan Dotson
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/...-Dotson-66254/
I would honestly rather have him than Bryn Forbes, right now... Size and length to play 1,2, and maybe some 3. Serious athlete, hit 44% of his 3's on 7.6/Game (Bryn hit 48% on 6.7). PIT MVP. Played at the University of Houston, just down the road, so he's comfortable in Texas.
2) Jake Wiley

Awesome athelete, is almost a reincarnation of Shawn Marion. Another standout at the PIT. Certainly worth looking at in this small-ball era... May have a jumpshot - 82.4% FT on 5.9 /Game, 5 of 7 on 3's for the season.

Awesome. Thanks for the update, Ace.
Wow..Some teams actually dont habe summer league teams?
What a waste of opportunity.
All teams have at least one. There are three leagues in total. The Spurs are members of two. Anyone you don't see is a member of the third league, along with a couple more from Vegas.
Do we think Livio gets another crack?
Nope I think we can get much better players in this years draft.
Yes. LJC started to show his athleticism and defensive prowess. Might be fully recovering from his injury.
I have tickets for 8 July.
I will always forget that the Spurs aquired his rights. He had a pretty meh season in France, 10 PPG on under 45% FG% and 35% 3P% shooting with a bad AST-TO ratio (2.16-1.66). Probably just another Marcus Denmon.
Think Hanlan would make a decent 16th man. Wasn't a poor college player, and getting back into the NBA system could probably help him long term better than a place like Le Mans.
Livio is going to return to the dleague for next season. Maybe he will be in the summer league squad?

While I'm very keen on them keeping Livio in the Spurs' system, I think they should still draft a big. I want to see Livio have a bigger role coming up, and Murray could use a PnR partner.
There's a chance that LJC is going to play for France in the Eurobasket tournament, he has been included in the preliminary roster: http://www.ffbb.com/un-groupe-de-37-...-france-basket
It's still a long way off, August 31st, but Euro teams start to prepare for these kind of tournaments very early.
Bertans' participation in the summer league/Eurobasket is also still undecided: http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/s...y-11219974.php
I wonder how the situation looks like on Milutinov's end. He would probably benefit the most from a run in the summer league.
that same issue is also present with Davis Bertans. No word yet on him participating in summer league or in the Latvian National Team
http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/s...y-11219974.phpBertans was one of 22 players selected to Latvia’s preliminary squad for FIBA's upcoming Eurobasket compe ion, contested biannually by men’s national teams within the governing organization’s European zone. Games will be played in Finland, Israel, Romania, and Turkey from Aug. 31 to Sep. 17.
Latvia is scheduled to begin training camp on July 17 in Riga, which would conflict with Bertans’ participation in the NBA’s annual Las Vegas summer league. The Spurs reportedly have not yet given the 24-year-old their blessing to play for his country.
Heat game opposite Celtics/Lakers which will be the biggest draw in Vegas.
Of course it would have been too much to expect Garcia to ask about any of the previous stash guys.
Whether White starts or is on the bench may give us a better impression on how they intend to use him.
Any more on our Serbs?
