Selling high for Forbes means a team accepts him as a matching salary fill in.
Two thirds of second round picks become available pretty quick anyway.
Forbes and 70% of the Spurs bench has no trade value. It'd be like trading a bag of chips for a can of Pringles. Not moving the needle much for either party involved.

You're right. They should just buy him out.
Let's hope Pop sits him for the next 10 games. Dont want that injury getting worse.
I would sell "below the sea level low" on this dude
2.9 million is not alot.... he's cheap... keep him
You never know-- I can't tell you how many times I've tried a trade on ESPN's Trade Machine and the result was something like "cut 1.2 million from outgoing trade value to make this trade successful." His $2.9 mil salary could make a difference.
Trade him or pay him 10M+ per season?
If patty deserves it then so does bryn and his kids
Hum, yes. But the time to do that was last yeah, not when he’ll be a UFA this summer
Sell high...
I'd chloroform his mouth...take him to the worst neighborhood in a 50 mile radius...leave him on a porch and never look back
What would we get for a 3 mil a year guy? I guess addition by subtraction but the same could be said for patty and demar..damn this team sucks
You attach him to Demar as a sweetener in a trade.
“Sell high?! You mean, extend high!” -
Sell high? You mean buy high. That’s the only way someone would take him.
I could easily see a desperate playoff team trading a second rounder for him. Problem is the Spurs only make trades with Eastern conference teams.
If this is true, someone in the front office is still butthurt about the Scola Rockets trade.
the world is watching Forbes play and how his defensive effort is completely pointless and do you believe he could give the team a playoff boost? he has no value, the only team that will pay him more than the minimum is the Spurs
Orlando needs a 3 point shooter. Send him with DDR.
