Or any Republicans for that matter
It's not a very sexy topic, but aid to states gets lost in this discussion. Because states are bound to balance their budgets, they can't deficit spend, they are forced to cut services and personnel when they have unfunded expenses.

The second order economic effects of not helping states out (lost jobs, consumer spending and taxes) are certain to be painful and likely to be long lasting. State governments are some of the biggest job creators we have.

1950s USA was impressive. White demographic shrunk relatively by 1/3 since then. And 1/2 of those remaining are anarchist kneelers

So, the Biden/Harris bus was just that. Biden and Harris were not there. 10 of the people counted came on the bus and the others were the Democratic committee members from Yuma and they had to be there

Biden/Harris not doing meet and greets after having recent contact with White House COVID-19 patients is the responsible thing to do.

Lindsey Graham in debate forum: Black people can go anywhere in South Carolina if they're 'not liberal'

"I care about everybody," Graham said. "If you're a young African American, an immigrant, you can go anywhere in this state, you just need to be conservative, not liberal."

    ‘The entire map has moved’:

Trump’s faltering campaign has handed Biden ‘multiple pathways’ to victory

Noting the president is falling behind in both polling and fundraising, CNN’s Eric Bradner writes the president,

since he was released from Walter Reed Medical Center,

has done nothing but waste his time airing his personal grievances

which has done nothing to bring any new voters into the fold.

That, in turn, is letting the Biden campaign go on the attack in states where the president is showing surprising weakness.

Biden’s aides and Democratic allies say Trump’s missteps and the former vice president’s message have given him a broad map with numerous paths to 270 electoral votes.

Trump “is struggling to bring new voters into the fold.”

Pointing to battleground states Michigan, Wisconsin and now Georgia, Cecil added,

    “The entire map has moved.

Some states might move by a little more than others,

but we have seen the entire map move towards Biden.”

Trump is now in danger of losing both Ohio and Iowa, which would doom any chance he has of remaining in office.

“Biden to date has outspent Trump in all six of those core battleground states,

making them his campaign’s central focus even as it eyes a broader playing field that includes

Ohio, Iowa and potentially Texas and Georgia.”

down-ballot, there were signs across the map that Republicans are in peril.

Campaign finance reports show that Democratic Senate candidates swamped their GOP rivals in fundraising in the third quarter, giving the party a hefty advertising advantage in the race’s final days.”

    unsurprising, if true

In 2020 more people filed for unemployment than voted for Trump in 2016.

holes more competent and professional than the USA, Mumbai edition

Dharavi, which has a population of about 1 million and is probably the most densely packed human settlement on Earth, has largely contained the coronavirus. Thanks to an aggressive response by local officials and the active participation of residents, the slum has gone from what looked like an out-of-control outbreak in April and May to a late-September average of 1.3 cases per day for every 100,000 residents, compared with about 7 per 100,000 in Portugal.

Jim Crow was rampant and segregation was the rule throughout Confederacy, and beyond (GI Bill denied to black vets).

30% of Americans "lived" in poverty in 1960.
