Good find. Devin Gibson is more along the lines of what we're used to seeing from the Spurs.

I guess this will end up as our big free agent signing for this offseason.

I've seen him play a couple times and he never really struck me as a pro player. Although his ability to steal the basketball is elite.

Good to see him get an opportunity. He was seen as one of the top PGs in the nation during his college career, was up in the rankings in assists and led the nation in steals one year.

Cool. If he works hard and plays well he might be able to land a spot on the Toros.

I'm a little surprised he didn't sign a D-League contract. They're hurting for point guards.

Damn, the Hornets took all the four best Toros players for their training camp.

Gonna be a rough couple of games.

Apparently Dell Demps still thinks he's the GM of the Toros. That could also explain why he took back such garbage contracts in that CP3 trade . . .

It's strange. He only dealt with one of the players he took (Squeaky Johnson), and had nothing to do with acquiring him.

I wouldn't be surprised if a Toros/player dev. job is being kept open for him if/when a new owner cleans house in NOLA. That and the Toros players stay together and get some TC money that doesn't have to come from the Spurs, who had no use for them in an abbreviated camp with a full roster.

    Diabolical.

    He even took Squeaky?

Dell needs needs to do a better job of keeping things on the DL.

The Toros' Luke Zeller is also at the Spurs' camp. Nothing to get excited about.

It's going to be difficult to make the roster but good that Devin has been given an opportunity like LeRoy Hurd. Gibson is a steal machine.

Devin won't make an NBA team, but he should easily find a spot on one of the nearby D-League teams if he puts himself in the player pool at the right time.

lol Toros down 21 in the second without their entire starting lineup.

That's a back up plan for him, especially now that the job with the Lakers is all but gone.
