Eh, the Onion stuff is way better.
"Slam dunk" - overaggressive layup
What Quatsch. A personal letter from Tim Duncan is printed in an easy-to-read sans-serif font he developed following months of trial-and-error research, on hand-cut unbleached stationery, rolled, sealed with beeswax, and tied with linen ribbon.
So, Tim Duncan is a re ? I guess the people that write this only know Tim Duncan from the Onion articles.
Nah, in the Onion articles he's very intelligence and articulate, with Duncan explaining things like the Sequestration a few years ago, concept of infinite divisibility, ect. Not sure where this version of Duncan is coming from but its an extremely poor imitation.
I thought it was funny enough. I liked the itinerary. Onion is better, but they can't all be gold.
I think yal may be missing the point...I think this letter is funny because it plays off of the idea that Tim Duncan is just a big kid. You know the same guy who loves playing video games and has a pension for reading comic books.

The letter seems to be written from the perspective of an articulate 2nd grader and plays off of the national media's views on San Antonio basketball being boring and old fashioned.
I don't agree with those assertions; however, that is why I found this to be funny.
It's funny-ish. Their characterization is all over the place, like they were trying to cram a bunch of ideas together. But I chuckled a couple of times.
God that was terrible. I want my minute of reading it back.
Mix in some paint ball or WoW or something. Jeez
eh the Duncan jokes are starting to jump the shark and get old.
The part about "La" and "us" and "C" in LaMarcus being superfluous was pretty funny IMO
I'll take 'Die'. Not really funny, nor is it anything like I'd imagine Tim to write.
Dear new dude,
Don't it up.
Signed,
Tim
Some of it was funny, but ya, kind of mediocre overall..
