Road wins right now are overrated.
There's no crowd. Yes, there is travel and all that, but it can't be a secret that the home team's advantage has to be blunted with every game feeling the same no matter the arena.

The road is a friendly place right now.

Great grades and great win. I look forward to seeing the entire game as I was unable to tune in until the end of the third. Thanks!
Murray 9 pts 9 rbd 11 ast 1 To....nice
Either way, a win is a win.
I agree. Just sayin'...
Hopefully Poeltl keeps trending upwards...makes a world of difference when your not playing 4 on 5 half the game
a lot of teams starting line ups can hang with ours, but not with our bench. That's where we got the advantage. Very good game from the team on both ends. They held the lead for the majority of the game and then blew it open in the 4th
When White comes back and this version of Murray, our guard rotation is pretty sweet.
This x100000
The Natural.
Is this something new? I kinda like it.
when did Rudy kick the cooler??
found it, around 3 min left in 3rd, after Vassel got fouled
cant complain, really solid win
Jakob two straight good game for him
Thought this was by far Pop's best coaching this season. In most games he lets them play freely but without any structure, whereas tonight he had them attack matchups all the time, there was very little helter skelter. Same on defense, he switched different players on Lillard and other than an unexpected explosion from Hood they had little success whatever they tried. Keep it up Pop.
Who is Derp?
McCollom out with hairline fracture. Yikes.
Dallas and the Nuggets should knock them and the Grizzlies off the top 8
I was watching with two friends, and I told them before the tip-off that for the first time this season, LMA wouldn’t be doing his walking corpse impersonation, because Portland.
Hmm I don't think THAT much effort was exerted. He wasn't all over the court. They ran the same play over and over with LMA standing just inside the 3 pt line. It was a one sided (offensive) game for LMA as usual.
Yeah, how many of those jumpers has he made this season? Not many. It frankly looks like he doesn’t GAF, most of the time. Glad to see Pop doesn’t have him out there during closing time. We probably would have won the first HOU game if he were benched late, like the last two games.
FYI for those reading, Spurs play the Warriors on Wednesday, not Tuesday. Great writeup though timvp.. Still waiting on you making podcasts though
Hard to see the Nuggets or Mavs not making the top 8.
It's really more 1-6 and 7-10 though. The Blazers and Grizzlies will have a very hard time cracking the top 6, but should be in the mix for 7-10. It's hard to write off too many teams at this point: Houston might gel with the cancer removed, GS has an MVP-caliber player, the Kings always just seem to hang around and could be within striking distance of the 10 spot with 3 weeks left, etc.
Thanks, again for the writeup, timvp!
I am looking forward to the random notes on the first part of the season.
Vassell has impressed the out of me. He is strongly contributing to winning games. That full court pass to Mills was golden, too.
Once he has a feel for the league and individual matchups, look out. I have no doubt that his shots will begin to fall. He really plays within himself and within the system. So rare for a young rookie.
That's the thing though. I don't think jumpers are a matter of effort. It either goes in or it doesn't.
Yes, I'm glad Pop is benching LMA too.
