oh look. a list.
Top 10 in my opinion
1.Hugh "King" McElhenny....a HS hurdler with incredible agility, quicks and speed.
2.John Riggins...a state 100 yard champ while in a Kansas HS. Great power/speed combo.
3.Jim Taylor...only RB other than Jim Brown to lead the NFL in rushing during Browns career
4.Red "The Galloping Ghost" Grange....no player made a bigger impact than he did on the sport. Fantastic speed/elusiveness blend.
5.Larry Csonka...rumblin' bumblin' stumblin'
6.Keith Lincoln****....shared carries with the speedy Paul Lowe, what a shame.
7.Frank Gifford....could do it all.
8.Paul Hornung....see above
9.Ernie Nevers....all pro entire career
10.Bronko Nagurski...,6-2 225 in the 30's
There is something about Steve Van Buren being a legit white guy, and he did play at LSU way back when.
Deserve mention
Doak Walker
George McAfee
Rick Casares
Christian McCaffrey
"Jaguar" Jon Arnett
Johnny "Blood" McNalley
Mark Van Eeghan
Peyton Hillis
Craig James
Ed Podolak
Ken Williard
John David Crow
Bill Dudley
Charley Trippi
Tony Canadero
Keith Lincoln.........scored..PAT, FG, passing, rushing, receiving, KO return, punt return

Go ahead give me the top 10 Raiders but don't use a list, ok?
Rolling Stone Magazine did the top 500 Albums, yep....a list
They also did the top 100 Guitarists, guess what....a list
Do any ALL TIME TOP...whatever but don't use a list.....so how is that done, well?
Why not try learning something guy, well?
I had him at number 10 then changed my mind then ....DUH~~~~
The great Hugh "King" McElhenny
He was at SF the same time they had Joe "Jet" Perry. That is why we don't see those gaudy numbers, they shared carries. Both in the HOF.

Is that Alstott? One of my favorite players. Moose Johnston was a FB, but he could get you that tough 3 yards and a pile of dust. Probably the best commentator working for the NFL right now imo.
White RB combo's
Not counting Army with Mr.Outside Glen Davis (world class sprinter) and Mr.Inside Doc Blanchard, both won the Heisman
The classic...Thunder & Lightning in pro football....Bronko Nagurski and Red Grange....both in the HOF
Jim Taylor & Paul Hornung...both HOFers
Alex Webster & Frank Gifford (HOF)
Who am I forgetting?
He was a long jumper while at USC, placed at the NCAA meet. And a guy nobody here has ever heard of.
As a Ram he was there with Bass another stud RB.

Dude, read the thread...ok?
yeah it’s painful...
A Ram, as was....who else?
How funny is the internet?
I rattle off a TON of guys nobody here has never heard of and it's....you know nothing about....hahahahahaha~~~~~~~~~
Les Josphesen
Larry Smith

Where was Jim from and where did he go to school?
Dude, who else?
Dude, how badly do you want your ass kicked with this?
Come on guy don't get silly, I saw him play while he was in school. And thanks to the Longhorn Nework...........
Where is he from?
Dont play smart, ya gonna get smacked on this one.
The best white RB by school? I can do that, but have to use NFL success and not while in school.
Penn St dude Capalletti
Where is Jim Bertelsen from? You can look it up but then on the next question you will fail.
Who are the two pros from Carrizo springs?
Dude, why do you you always play this silly ? You really can't see..."it"....?
The cat was out of Wisconsin, do I know what street he lived on, no. His fav color...nope. How old he was when he got his first piece of ass...nope.
Dude, you;re weird,,
So he was from Wisconsin and he went to UT.
Thats odd. But you don’t know how or why even though you said you know everything about Texas football.
You see it gets weird for you when you can’t answer a question. Then you claim it’s uninteresting. You are such a wit with your brevity and shallowness. Who are the two pros from Carrizo Springs and why am I mentioning them in this same conversation?
And now start your Black pro placekicker thread.
You just got stumped.
~ Yep~. that’s right.
So you are telling me that he didn't play HS ball in Wisconsin?
And there are three pro footballers out of Carrizo Springs, so ge it right, ok?
Dude, why do ask stupid questions? I don't care about what HS, town anyone was from, who does? You never talk about what's important....why?
Avante.... Bass the best RB UOP ever had.
You....what was his dogs name?
Avante,,,,no clue.
You...SEE SEE SEE ..ya don't know .
