while the vaccine rollout has been good, people have to realize this isn't over until its over. still had 1000 deaths reported yesterday, for instance. that we are moving in the right direction and can see the finish line doesnt mean people can start letting up on basic safety protocols. still averaging the same amount of daily new cases as we were about a month ago, despite millions of vaccines being administered during that period.

Eventually the animals are going to cross the croc infested river, even as they see others dying in the process. It's in their nature to cross. Humans won't stay on the riverbanks forever, they will venture out and let down their guard because for many, the odds of getting it are one thing, the odds of having serious complications are even less and the odds of dying even less.
