Wouldn't have the space to get him this year even if we wanted him, and he would be a horrible fit in the Spurs offence. A ball stopper and a sieve on the defensive end, I can't think of a less Spurs player in the league.
    JR Smith.

One thing about love as a Spur, he has to expect not to stat pad like he's done with the wolves. He may not be cool with that idea.

Hopefully winning a championship can get some players to rethink SA as a free agent destination. The irony is that some players won't want to come here because they feel it won't be a challenge.

The Spurs actually almost got him for B. Barry in '07 or '08.

But they need another big to replace love and splitter is probably the best big they can get.
Love is a stretch 4 and Splitter is a true 5. Getting Splitter would lock up way too much money at the same position for them.

Would rather try and get Greg Monroe to replace Tim if he retires. If not, resign Boris, Patty and hope to dear god Trevor Ariza would wanna take the midlevel from us.

No way. I'd rather have Lebron. I hate a lot of things about the guy, but I gotta admit, he's an amazing talent. A starting 5 of TP, Green, Kawhi, Lebron and Splitter would be scary on both ends of the court. BUT, we all know that's not gonna happen.

No! No! No! Least desirable player on my short list! Melo is all about him and not about team! I feel we bring everybody back and add a reliable wing player to play behind Leonard. Let's win tomorrow, enjoy it, and then discuss things when the end of June arrives.

I'd prefer we keep the starting lineup as is. Only change I would like this offseason is to find a legitimate backup SF, Ariza would be ideal but I highly doubt that happens. Now if Timmy retires (which he probably won't), then of course Spurs need to do something.

did you watch any Spurs games at all the last years? do you listen to the announcers and how they praise which players are selected by Pop and RC? how a Spur defines himself by being unselfish and willing to pass the ball? Melo to Spurs? Man, we are short of winning a le and some guys come up with such bull ....

Why in the would we want Carmelo Anthony? Hes supposedly the best player on every team hes been on yet he never wins, and he never learns. Did you not look at the Knicks record? How about Denver doing better WITHOUT him?

Yes, when he was much younger and more impressionable.

SA should get rid of Manu, Splitter, and Belli, shed the dead weight. Pick up Melo and an athletic shot blocking big (someone that won't choke against OKC/MIA), RIP NBA.

Their offense would be ing sick.
