I don't know why FOX broke down the political identification (especially the low Independents) - 40%R
12%I 48%D. Gallup has a 2019 average of 27.5%R
40.625%I 29.5%D
If the same proportion of Independents from FOX poll who want Trump impeached/removed were applied to the Gallup Independents (10.15625%YES 10.15625%NO 20.3125%Don't know) and then added to the Gallup breakdown, it would be
39.65625% YES 37.15625% NO 20.3125% (Don't know). 39.65625% is a lot different from the majority (51%) that's being reported everywhere - disingenuous of the FOX poll if you ask me.
I'm no statistician and maybe my math is all wrong - mixing 2 different polls can't be "correct" but the Gallup pol. identification seems a much more accurate breakdown to me than that Fox breakdown.
