Henderson is pretty nice, imo. And no (non made-up) threat of the Russians either.
Yeah, Henderson is really nice. If you know the area I'm actually from Boulder City out near the dam. A little boring as a kid, but plenty nice and safe as an adult.

In Kharkov there are thousands of people who have been displaced by the war in Donestsk and Lughansk. Threat is pretty real here. I've talked to many that are living it.

Yea, I pass through Boulder City a good amount. It's expanding some; but it still has a good small town feel. They've probably added a few fast food places since you been there. I remember a Pizza Hut, a Taco Bell, Panda Express, and a few others on that main road is what I remember. I placed some bets there one morning about a month back. I like all the open vistas there. I hear rumors that some of the locals (and tourists) like it for the outdoor sex.

Yea, the Russian govt. is really empirical. And the citizenry is predictably hardened. Unfortunately, Obama was in power when they invaded Ukraine; so, free pass.

Yea, I pass through Boulder City a good amount. It's still pretty small amazingly enough. I placed some bets there one morning about a month back. I like all the open vistas there. I hear rumors that some of the locals (and tourists) like it for the outdoor sex.

Well, back in the day Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee did their sex tape on a boat on the lake. That's the only outdoor sex I know. Also, there's a dry lake nearby where porn companies like to go sometime. But the denziens of the city themselves are pretty conservative. When I was in high school, we used to have desert parties but you know that's just kids being kids...

When the Russians took the Crimea, Obama advised the Ukrainians not to resist. They could not have held the Crimea, but they could have given a lot of casualties to the Russians. If they had, then they would have been MUCH less likely to go on and do what they've been doing in the Donbass. Ten thousand Ukrainians are dead, their economy has collapsed, and the road to the EU are slowed, if not closed. So, Obama really blew it. Trump, of course, has done nothing. America has really let the Ukrainians down in my opinion.

    Happy 50th to Sean Elliott

Did Sean push off this guy's leg to get extra elevation? I remember back in the day when I was a kid having a debate with my friend on whether he did or didn't. His head was up at rim level.

I didn't think I'd see this dunk again.

"The world police" act in their own interest like real police, tbh. Even WWII (the war US lauded for), lots of dirt on FDR, tbh.

    Happy 50th to Sean Elliott

Early 90s Sean was a super athlete, so that dunk doesnt surprise me. He was probably the best prospect in college coming out his year. For Sean, as a pro, he was largely held back by injury and being a little mentally fragile (aka soft).

To answer an earlier question (again), I might've got the Jazz at +10.5 in-play instead. This 6-0 start by the Spurs is not surprising.

I agree. I thought he was a little mentally weak. He would have been amazing 3rd option on offense if he could have played with TD and D-Rob a little longer.

He also toughed up a lot when a young Pop got a hold of him. When he was healthy under Pop, he was great as a 3rd option and a check-the-other-team's-best-perimeter-player type of defender.

I think Gasol is coming off the bench if I'm not mistaken. At least that's what Sean made it sound to be.

I'll take the contested three by Bert over the open three by Fathead, tbh.
