This is a good point.
Which is why the blue team actually has to explain why this particular phone call is so important as to how this country conducts elections in the future and election laws. This call basically establishes a precedent to allow a president to ask foreign powers to use their intelligence agencies for information on political opponents and use $ to get the job done.

It invites foreign governments (ally or not) to have a role in picking our candidates. This is not good. Now that $ is tied to this business we have a bigger mess.

It should also mean red team members establish a position on the above instead of deflecting because it’s pretty clear they wish the phone call never happened.
