If that Filipina had superpowers they wouldn't have this problem
Axed in development:
"Mail Order Family"
A half-hour comedy about a widowed white father who brings a mail order bride from the Philippines to take care of his daughters, from the producers of “Superstore" — Jackie Clarke, Ruben Fleischer and Davd Bernar.
The predictable backlash against sitcom “Mail Order Family” has caused NBC to nix the show almost immediately.
“We purchased the pitch with the understanding that it would tell the creator's real-life experience of being raised by a strong Filipina stepmother after the loss of her own mother,” a spokesperson told NBC News in a statement.
vs Promoted and heralded up the ass:
Modern Family upcoming episode: A synopsis of the upcoming episode reads: "Cam [effeminate got #1] and Mitc [effeminate got #2] have always felt they were the most open, non-judgmental and supportive parents. However, when they overhear Lily insulting her new friend, they have to take a quick look in the mirror before they teach her a lesson about acceptance." "This is Jackson Millarker. He's 8 years old, from Atlanta, and just happens to be transgender. He plays Lily's friend Tom in this week's Modern Family and he's wonderful.

Oh no, if it was "white guy orders transgender or gay bride" then Hollywood would give it an Emmy.
Just interesting how they blather about acceptance but in reality are 100% agenda driven and exclude the Mail Order show. Gawd forbid a true to life -lets face it we've all seen older white dude with obvious mail order Asian bride- be allowed to telecast alongside Modern ily.
Thats why its always been called television programming.
