I can't believe not a single jury member believed there was reasonable doubt that the half dozen other things caused Floyds death. How does any case this controversial end in a unanimous verdict either way.

Good, he was remanded right into the slammer. If he was allowed to go home to take care of his personal stuff he would have kill himself before serving time.
Eh, I don't know. First, he is probably much safer in police custody than if he went on the public street and drove to his house. What are the chances he wouldn't become a victim of mob violence? Probably zero. If he wanted to kill himself, he could do that in prison just as easily as he could do it at his house. Plus, he'll have some appellate points to potentially get it down to manslaughter. Not saying it will happen, but it is certainly possible and a reason for him to have some kind of optimism. But I mean 8 years doesn't feel like a long time as is. I say that having never been in prison. But it hardly feels like his life is over, though effectively it is on some level as he will forever be tied to this case.

No joke this is stupid. So Chauvin did the right thing for the cause? Someone needs to take the microphone away.

I don’t think so. I don’t think they tack on time for each count and the fact that he was tried for unintentional murder caps his jail time at like 12 years.

both autopsies found the same cause of death. it wasnt drugs

that was a loser argument for the defense. the more they emphasized that, the less credibility they had before the jury, imo
