Christians are bound by divine edict to do good things. Secularists aren't, so when they do what they arbitrarily consider "good", with no basis for good, then they advertise it to others, it's basically virtue signaling.

Both are advertising their good deeds, but Christians are taught to not advertise or pray openly, while secularists are taught to take selfies and tweet their entire day, especially parts where they help the less fortunate.
