That-a-way, State run media CNN could now back up their 4 days old assertion in order to "talk Putin' out of this" since trying to "talk Putin out of this" didn't work the multiple weeks before he set that aforementioned big toe across the aforementioned borderline.

...not good, because we played by a set of rules that we created...demilitarized zones, no fly over zones, no fighting on Sundays, half days every other Friday, you get the idea, bomber. Putin hasn't, isn't and will never play by those types rules. Why? Simple; he watched us get butchered using them in Vietnam and every ing war since, and Korea before Vietnam! He won't make that mistake.

There's a real possibility this will cost Putin way more than it could be worth. He can't stand having a free democracy on his border but an entire European country of Slavic martyrs isn't really going to help him in what time he has left. No way it could help his legacy in the chaos that will almost certainly follow his death.
