I actively protested against the 2017-18 tax bill because it wasn't really a tax cut, it was a tax simplification that benefited the wealthy and hurt the ordinary taxpayer, especially those owning property, those with high medical annual bills, and living in states with state and/or local income taxes. It was lousy.

I also vehemently protested against the Spring 2020 stimulus spearheaded by Trump. You act like I suck Trump's or something. He realistically hasn't been a great president. The best thing he's done is not get us into any new wars, not raise taxes/gas prices significantly and not taken away gun or religious rights.

We need a classical/austrian/libertarian economist president who will balance the budget, slash government spending, and eliminate or greatly reduce the national debt. It's not impossible, even under a Democrat. See, Bill Clinton.

What do you define as "rich"? With modern inflation, 400K a year certainly isn't rich, especially if you're married with children. A million a year or more? Fine. I'm in favor of 80% tax bracket for income exceeding $10M+ a year. But definitely don't raise taxes on the middle class or "upper" middle class.

Conservatives always say I didn't like it when conservatives did it either I swear Ted Cruz claims to have protested tax cut deficit spending even if he voted it. If you were actually so against GOP deficit spending, you wouldn't be a conservative. Sorry, we've seen this routine before and no one's buying it.

I wouldn't disagree with that, especially Trump's dumb stimulus crap in 2020. I wanted to Dump Trump after that dumb stimulus, myself. Other than the dumb Iraq war, most of the deficit spending wasn't necessarily Bush's fault. The Afghani war was a necessity, we needed to take revenge on the terrorists who killed 3000 innocent Americans on US Soil.

I'm an atheist, right leaning libertarian. Spurtacular is a conservative. I was mildly hoping Trump would win, but I could see benefits to Biden winning too, especially with a GOP Senate that isn't likely to deviate from that for many years to come.
