30 years in Engineering for me.
I can’t remember an American black male in the business.
Africans sure (male and female) and a few American black females.
There were a few American black males in my STEM courses and were almost all into comics, anime and video games. Not sports. Majority were also mixed raced
Much more common outside the US, tbh... especially the UK and France...
