Moody measuring a bit shorter than expected could affect his draft position. Hope he drops to the Spurs.
Wouldn’t mind trading Dejounte and Poeltl for another 1st like Garuba/Sengun if so.

I see Butler is being held out by the league under a medical protocol of some sort.
They only do that if there’s something career threatening detected. Sucks.

Disappointing measurements for Moody. Still wouldn’t mind drafting him as he’s a good bet to meet his potential. But I would probably leapfrog a couple other prospects over him now just because of personal preference.

This is DeJounte, clearly not obsessing over size. He was listed at 6’6”, and that’s almost ALWAYS in shoes, so 6’5”. He comes up 1/2” short, and you’re dropping him like an ugly girl?

Dude, Spider Mitc is like 6’3”, IN SHOES,, and was drafted in the teens.

bruh, I’m not dropping him. It’s literally 1-2 guys I’m putting over him. So chill.

if i was dropping him, i would say don’t draft him. He’s literally still in the same tier in my board.

I was thinking Moody's measurements jumped off the page in a good way. 7'0.75" wingspan and 4th-biggest hands.

True but he’s been listed anything from 6’5 to 6’8(ringer). Pretty sure most mocks will lower his value based on the combine measures.

You’re like Bender from Breakfast Club. Some girls you consider your GF, and some you just consider, I guess Moody isn’t a GF any more.

Moody is still a girlfriend. That’s how much I like his skills.

Good find Ace. Thanks as always!

Moody has elite wing length for his size. I am still high on him.

Scottie Barnes jumped up for many of the draft evaluators I have seen around. He’s skilled and has elite measurables.

Overall I am excited about this draft class.

That say alot for Sengun....interesting... do you mind sharing what he says about Wagner? He has him rated very close to my BB (from a Spurs perspective)...I'm curious as to his analysis
    No problem.

    7. Franz Wagner, SF, Michigan, Sop reThe younger brother of Orlando center Moritz Wagner, Franz is a very different kind of player: He’s a huge wing with unusually nimble feet for his size, capable of checking guards on the perimeter and busting out in passing lanes for steals. Wagner stands 6-foot-9 but had one of the better steal rates in this draft class; he’s the classic switchable defender teams covet.

Offensively, he projects more as a role player than a star. Wagner can shoot but has a low release point on his shot and hasn’t shown the footwork or off-the-dribble sizzle to be a high-frequency bomber. He’s good in transition and can attack in straight lines in the half court, where his size and stride length give him an advantage even on basic dribble moves. He’s also a good passer with a strong feel for the game, and he rarely screws up, resulting in a better than 2:1 assist-to-turnover rate.

The other thing Wagner has going for him is his age. Although listed as a sop re, he is actually younger than several of the freshman in this draft class, including Barnes, Mobley and Suggs. He doesn’t scream outrageous upside, but the youth, production and positional scarcity all point to Wagner as an underrated player in this draft.

i think so, the wingspan is really good. Not worry about his 6'5'5 height.

Big big sleeper of this draft

42" max vertical for Joe Wieskamp who also came in 6'7" in shoes with a 6'11" wingspan. Pretty good for a 46% 3PT shooter.

Have been coming to the NBA Combine for close to 20 years and this was easily the most well-run and informative day I've seen. A lot of thought went into every drill in terms of putting players in real game situations. Coaches have been outstanding and the players have responded.

I new it I always came away from watching him play thinking that he plays and looks like a player much taller then 6'6 yet every mock has him at 6'6 - If we don't draft Wagner in the first then he is my guy in the second round for sure.

    Thanks ACE...
