Tatum and Mitc might be better scorers but I believe Lonzo will finish with the better career. Fans would suck young players cause they score 25 points here and there. But Lonzo is an excellent defender passer and has the highest IQ in his draft class. Eventually his scoring will get better but I’d rather be great at everything but scoring then only be a scorer tbh.

Damn. Over last 5 games: 5.2ppg on .243 shooting. I don't know why the Lakers didn't choose to move him last off season when he had some value. He won't turn it around this season, either. He won't be able to develop playing alongside Lebron. Once the Lakers signed Lebron, they become a "win now" team rather than a youth movement team. Another star or two will sign with them next season, so might as well start selling their youth off for veteran ring chasers to complement the probable Lebron/KD/another star trio. They should probably move Ingram (redundant to KD or Leonard) for a solid a PG.

None. LaVar is gonna blow his money on another JBL type venture. Sad that he doesn't stand up to him. Kinda like Kiwi and Uncle Fester.

Instead of working on his game, he was trying not to get traded after we signed LBJ. He could have surgery the day after the season ended. Could have rehabbed and recovered enough to work on his game the rest of the summer - the times when real players work on their games.

I'm starting to question if he "wants" it (greatness). Fox took another leap with the Queens, why not Lonzo? Ticks me off tbh.

It's pretty obvious at this point that he doesn't belong in the nba. His perceived strong points are below average to average at best for the position, his D is textbook cheating D, his offensive game is extreme levels of bad to the point it will be remembered in history. I mean DBust was atrocious and cancerous, but he wasn't THAT unskilled. At this point I don't think he'd have been drafted in the first round if a redraft was to happen. He's getting outscored by Fultz, mind you. One thing working for him is that the lakers have nobody who can stay in front of point guards, so he kinda has to get minutes by default.. But frankly I think they are ready to give up on him and try something else, perhaps a full time pg job for Hart, but he didn't look good at all on Augustin yesterday.
