Oh the players are happy they just got out of school early only the true playoff contender teams are probably upset rightly so never know when you can get to the big dance.
Players will pick up their player options now.

great smh. One more reason for Flopovich to run it back, since he couldn't see what the team could do for an entire season. "They just started clicking"
All this because Yao Ming ate a bat sandwich. Smh.
I knew you were a geute.
Lmao Rudy Gobert. in French, smh.
We should trade for Rudy now, wth the virus, fire sale pricing and we can trade our cancer for their virus. Win win
now that's what I call a smart move

see what happens in a year where the spurs don't make the playoffs. the NBA universe can't handle the variation. (btw, in the unlikely event the season gets completely cancelled, does this mean that the spurs record of consecutive playoff appearances still stands?)
You can say the same about the warriors though. Big difference from finals to lottery. The Spurs 8 seed to 11 pick isn't a big jump
I really don't think it's an unlikely event. I think it's almost assured we have watched our last NBA games this season. There is no hiding from this virus, it transmits way too effectively. Two weeks from now when the Gobert quarantine is up it's pretty likely there will be a significant proportion of the league's players positive for the SARSCov2 virus. I'd be very surprised if there aren't travel bans in a month. Models suggest 40% to 70% of the population needs to be infected before this virus will stop. We're only seeing the tip of the iceberg right now. This is likely to be a long ride over the next few months.
yeah but its not as long though, just 5 years. ours is 22. thats a pretty big difference.
Spurs last time not in playoffs - 1997
Warriors Last time not in Finals - 2014
Its definitely more unusually not seeing us in the playoffs vs not seeing them in the finals.
That doesn't mean much though, it can take 4-6 days for the virus to show. They will all need to be tested again.
Everyone in the league should just get infected and then get over it and then play the remaining games in empty stadiums.
He also smartly identifies Trump as the biggest piece of on Earth despite being a lifelong Republican.
Spurs Sports & Entertainment employees will work from home. All events at AT&T Center will be cancelled
I just flew in from Denver Tuesday night and it's crazy how many people are washing their hands now. Sad it took this outbreak to cause people to start being clean instead of some dirty people. However, when I was in Colorado I saw a few walk out the restroom without washing their hands. Crazy.
So do we have the 11th pick?
Even if the season is over, there's still the lottery to set the exact order. Three teams jumped in from outside the top 4 last year.
So exactly how long is the season suspended? In one article I read it said 2 weeks minimum, and another one said 30 days.
