It was a foul. He wasn't set and the offensive player was blocked outside the paint by a moving defensive player. Gee He didn't force the charge,, but if there were contact it should have been a foul
The guy who blew the whistle is an NBA ref
(at least I think it was him. Steven Anderson was part of the ref crew in this game).

You don't need to be set dumbass. He had position and before he moves his right foot back, the other guy was gonna hit him either way.
That was a heartbreaker for Australia. Baynes will be tearing up the restroom for sure.
Yeah rebounding encompasses of simply grabbing boards like Rondo rather than boxing out which is what Marc Gasol does better than Mirotic who was getting pushed under the rim by Carmelo. Ibaka presence would have meant Lowry wouldn't have been driving to the rim without any regard for who was protecting the rim when Pau was out of the game.
Big Dummy, they AREN'T better DEFENSIVE options than Marc Gasol. Mirotic is a horrific defender who couldn't stay on the floor & Reyes is a in' 36 year old backup PF who is slow as molasses. It's not like Marc hasn't played against Team USA when they had BETTER players like PEAK LeBron/CP3 who pick apart mismatches better than tunnel vision Melo/Kyrie/Dominos/Klay.No, you said they weren't better defenders, dumbass. It was a stupid blanket statement.
Reyes did nothing in 2012 besides getting abused by Kevin Love.
Yeah, that explains why he got BENCHED for Kevin Love in 2012 & couldn't score on wack ass Reyes/Mirotic.Anthony has a better chance to defend the vastly overrated M. Gasol (with help, of course) than the other way around.
Yeah, Team USA's bench didn't get outplayed even w/ Mirotic starting & Marc/Pau/Ibaka wouldn't have outplayed DeAndre/Cousins/Melo. Team USA got bailed out by offensive rebounds & Klay having a 5 minute outbrust to keep Spain at bay in the 2nd quarter.P. Gasol was fine, but again, he's not sufficient enough star power to take down any version of the U.S. They've always needed a perimeter player at least on his level to have a real chance.
Spain lost in '08/'12 b/c they got outscored from 3 which wasn't the case this time b/c Team USA is pretty mediocre: Butler/Melo not being able to score on Navarro/Mirotic say it all.
Pau definitely deflected the ball on the last play. Patty was called for a blocking/ charging foul on the previous play which is what everyone is talking about. Baynes made a killer shot over Pau for the lead 9.7 seconds to go. Then the blocking call on Patty.
Bill I was mistaken Rubio got credit for breaking up the last play. Pau 'definitely' had a stellar game.
Serbia can outscore Team USA from 3 if Teodosic is on his game.
Raduljica is the X-factor, he can get DeAndre in foul trouble & force coach K to play Cousins.
They weren't winning shyt w/ Kirby playing like it was 2009 when he was on the tail end of his prime. Their PnR defense was also horrific w/ Pau playing the 4.
Against Bogut no less:
Goo d game by MVP Pau. Excited about him. wow will he have a better season than LMA? I don't want to jinx him.
Are you ing serious?
Serbia is playing lockdown defense so far, once again.
Serbia looking tilted with one bad offensive possesion after another.
All those bad mouthing Durant...he's a stud when he gets it going.
Spain would've crushed USA if Marc were able to play.
Ugh no. Team USA still dominates.
Team USA rolling.
The USA barely beat Spain without him, so no. Did you even watch the game?
The Aussies would've put up a better fight
Move watched Spain and they suck. Team USA played down to them and Marc Gasol is slow and fat. He can't keep up with Team USA. Spain's best days are behind.
Btw, it's not like we don't have great players watching from home. Just admit Team USA is the best. They are coming home with the gold.
