There's the first FG. They really are going to tie.
Don't even throw... Just run the ball with Jacobs FFS.
There's the first FG. They really are going to tie.
That FG makes it even more likely... Chargers have 4 downs every series to get a FG. Just run the stinking ball.
If you guys want to be entertained, look at r/steelers right now
Seriously though... it was 2nd and 6.... WHY THE did the Chargers go away from the run game?
ugh... Zay Jones may have saved the Steelers season there.
Not watching the game, but if you are the Raiders and the chargers run out of timeouts do you realistically just kneel the ball and get the tie knowing the cir stances? why risk throwing an interception and being eliminated from the playoffs?
The Raiders must really hate the Chargers.
Chargers' coach not calling TO at the end, good or bad call? If the defense would have stopped what so clearly was going to be a run, it would have been a smart choice, imho.
Chargers are stupid for not stuffing the run on that 3rd & 4
Haha Chris Collinsworth, he wanted a tie sooo bad
Instead of getting KC, they get the Bengals. It wasn't the same for them.
Terrible call tbh. I think the Raiders were content to tie, but that made them decide to go for the kill.
That was the most interesting way to barely make the playoffs
exactly... I don't know why you don't put nine in the box and make the Raiders choose from kicking a near 60 yarder or just chewing the clock out.
Chargers lose in epic Chargers fashion, I guess. Good season, Clipper Nation
yeah, Pittsburgh just lost in KC by thirty. That one's not going to be a game. They had to go to the end of OT to win by a last second FG against an injury and covid depleted Ravens team with no quarterback. PIT isn't good. It will give Mahomes a chance to warm up for the real postseason.
The Raiders didn't go for the kill, they played it safe by running the ball once they figured out the Chargers were going to let the clock run.
It's very rare that you see any week, much less the final week of the regular season, where there's almost 3 very meaningful games that ALMOST end in a tie, but are won at the very end on practically last second kicks.
Will be remembered as one of the better regular season finale days in recent NFL history.
yeah, and for some reason the Chargers couldn't stop Jacobs when everyone and their dog knew they were running on that 3rd & 4. I mean you run blitz and stuff him, easy call, sell out. If the Raiders decide to play action and beat you deep with a throw, you have the right to complain. You don't have the right to complain if you give up 10 f--king yards on the ground on 3rd and 4 in that position. Chargers
The raiders were taking all their sweet time at the huddles and running the ball between the tackles with both hands on the ball, after realizing the Chargers weren't going to stop the clock. What "kill" are you folks talking about? It doesn't make sense. If Jacob would have been stopped at the line of scrimmage on that last run, the Raiders probably don't even attempt the FG.
So much for "a lame one, not a whole lot to watch"
