Rather have Duncan's ankle get the time to recover.
If it goes 7 games it means that Joe Johnson will play more in the series against the Spurs.

No. It means there's more of a chance he'll play more. There's no guarantee he'll play at all. In 2000, Tim was Day to Day in the Playoffs. He never played again that series...
johnson's face was still badly swollen on tuesday. he looked like he had gone 12 rounds the night before.
Isn't he like the 5th or 6th option in the team???
It's like them saying, Barry will play more of the series so watch out!
I think it's a safe bet that Johnson will play in the WCF. Duncan's ankle will not completely heal until the off-season when he can rest it. An extension of the series is better for Phoenix than San Antonio in my opinion.
The Suns' biggest weakness is their lack of depth. If Johnson is available they will be in much better shape.
i think Duncan's left ankle, and manu's energy and thigh bruise getting better, worry me more than Joe Johnson.
Joe Johnson even when back will have some mental blocks to get over.
and I still say you're smoking crack. But, it really doesn't matter, because we have no control over whether the Mavs win or lose tonight.
We'll play when we have to, with who we have, against whoever!
Wait a minute....Didn't you say the Spurs wouldn't win? Just curious
I think tshort changed his mind. He now has Pistons as Champs over the Spurs in another thread...
true true
spurs will handle phx or dal
I'm not too concerned about Johnson. If Duncan is close to 100% it's our series to loose. Now, let's not eliminate the Mavs yet.
I think tlong is a little too worried about the Spurs then he should be.
Why aren't you keeping people in the NBA forum updated about what moves the Portland Blazers are making. Like having tryouts at all major city correctional facilities.

I wouldn't say handle. Its going to be the toughest series the Spurs have had in a long time. With Duncan tweaking his ankle, its going to be even tougher, unless it miraculously gets better by sunday or tuesday.
does game one start the same time no matter what?
A healthy Joe Johnson and a healthy Tim Duncan is WAY better than no J. Johnson and a hurt Timmy!!!!
Man you are dumb asshole, we don't give a rat's ass about your opinion or your gangster team. Please go away we don't want you here.
