How do you know any of this?
Pop's already done his press conference on it, so I'd say its about as official as it's going to get until Kawhi does his physical.
How do you know any of this?
People at work laughing their asses off that he is being traded to Toronto. Lol
Well, no reason to be hoping for a bad Toronto season now. Hopefully they get to the finals, so Kawhi doesn't get traded to LA midseason, and then Zaza takes the out for good.
You would have heard had the spurs made offers to teams that were rejected.
What I did see was the spurs were just listening to offers from other teams but not actively making offers to other teams.
clips package was the best. 2 firsts and michael porter was there, while tobias isn't that much worse than derozan, especially if he can maintain his sudden 40% three point shooting
Should not have been in position to be a begger. PATFO did not have the foresight to see Kawhi was in no way changing his mind and needed to be traded while his value was still high.
If Kawhi leaves (likely) Raptors dump the rest of their good players for a rebuild. Those 2nd round picks will be in the 32-40 range. Might turn out better.
Agree
Miles Bridges and Porter was the way to go but the Spurs should have also been more assertive in making offers to teams on draft night.
That's just speculation, but I agree that the Clippers trade was the way to go, looking back at things..it would have been the best combination of young talent and ability to win now..
The only assholes gaped here are from DG and K-Down, but at least they can use that cold to kill some pain deep inside those hemorrhoids.
This was literally a salary dump of DeRozan's disgusting contract, yet MannyIsGod thinks we would be able to get rid of it next offseason.
Dont forget that 2nd round pick
jury is still out on that
both will not be allstars for 3 years
This thread is ludicrous. The Spurs got what they could get. Leonard is an unproven asset with a bad at ude and quite possibly a degenerative health issue. The Spus got an Allstar player with years left on his contract. Leonard is in his last year and doesn't want to play anywhere but LA. I'm happy he's gone.
And the idea that a #10 draft pick is guaranteed to be better than a proven Allstar is crazy.
Its a great trade if leonard is actually seriously hurt
Yes, Yes it is for L.A. No Kawhi, and if he ever makes it to Los Township LeBron be like how old?
Just good enough to keep the Spurs from getting any decent picks next year.
If Kawhi were to fail the physical somehow. ...
It's great in that Kawhi demanded LA and got sent to Toronto.
ing hilarious for a SoCal guy
If the Spurs Front Office were the lame-o's everyone on this board says they are they would have taken whatever the Lakers would give. Instead they got the best deal they could and put Leonard in s bad position.
