So no one really gives 2 s about their actual positions on issues. Everyone only really cares about how they managed the rules of the debate, the idiosyncrasies of each, and of course the party they represent.

no, we care plenty what the issues are, but for people that follow politics on a fairly regular basis, none of us are going to learn anything about the candidates during debates. thats geared toward people who dont read up and legitimately don't know what the different candidates think about basic issues.
did i need to be told today that biden wants to repeal trump's tax cuts for the rich? did i need to be told that pence was pro-life?
for me, the debates have more to do with speculating how it's going to impact the race, if at all, not as a vehicle to learn about people i know plenty about. i'm assuming most here are in that same boat. and to that effect, how the candidates come across is pretty important
She pissed me off how slow she was talking and missed a whole lot opportunities to nail that bas on many points
