So Ot ends at 9-1 in what could very reasonably been a 15-1 even 17-1 with some offense and a non re coach.

So what does Oht do? Steals his 24th base in a 1-1 game then scores from 2b on a single. 4next stolen base will put him as one of only 5 to have 45 HRs + 25 SBs, and the other 4 are all heavy steroid era stats. Bonds etc.
His pitching performances all year long we can only hope the re s that make up MVP selection know what a quality start / burned out of a win is.
Props to Vlad Guerro Jr, he is indeed having a great year. But not does-it-all like Ohtani.

Over a decade into his MLB career, and Mike Trout still only has 3 post season games under his belt. Not 3 post seasons. 3 games. In the modern era of expanded playoffs.
At this point, he's not chasing the likes of Babe or Hank or Mays. He's trying to separate himself from Andre Dawson. You hate to see it with such early promise to his career.
