Anyone watching Celtic vs Manchester Utd? I hope to see a better game than yesterday's PSV vs. Liverpool draw. It was almost pathetic watching the lack of effort, but understandable cuz it was only Matchday 1 and they care more about league matches.
    Go Celtic!!!

    manutd wins 3-2 celtic

damn exciting first half though, that luis saha is a n gun, i like how manutd has decided to rebuild with its young core, all they need to do is get rid of scholes and the older players. i still prefer to see rooney play AM behind saha, his not a good upfront striker imo, that dude is a hog sumtimes.

    rmadrid hahaha chokers.

good start by Arsenal, Real gets reality check. Nice surprise by Steaua, although Dinamo K. is not what it used to be.

Just like a year ago, Lyon handed Real Madrid its ass.

    Should have really been 4-0.

I always supported Inter b/c I was a major fan of Adriano. But he's been crap ever since he got injured a year ago, and Inter overall is a joke. Lost to Sporting Libson and should've lost to Sampdoria yesterday.

I was hoping (since I'm passionate for Mexican soccer) that Kikin Fonseca would play against Man U, but according to Portuguese newspapers, he's not even on the roster. With Nuno Gomes, Miccoli, and Mantorras, I guess there really is no need for a Mexican in Kikin, who hasn't even proven himself in Euro soccer yet. Anyways, this match ought to be extremely good, considering the Portugal/England rivalry which inflamed during the World Cup. Champions League is the best soccer IMO, can't wait for this game.

    Injured Eto'o misses Chelsea ties

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o will miss his side's Champions League games against Chelsea in October after sustaining a serious knee injury.

The 25-year-old Cameroon international was carried off during Barca's 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen on Wednesday and could be sidelined for three months.

Eto'o is definitely ruled out of Barca's trip to Stamford Bridge on 18 October and the return on 31 October.

He also misses Barca's trip to rivals Real Madrid in La Liga on 22 October.

Eto'o has torn and displaced the meniscus of his right knee and is set for further tests to determine the length of his absence.

Barca's club doctor Ricard Pruna told his club's website: "This type of injury occurs with a sudden change in the direction of the knee."

Eto'o, who was voted third in Fifa's World player of the year award for 2006, has been Africa's top player for each of the last three seasons.

He has hit 68 goals in 101 games for Barca and scored 26 times last season to finish the top scorer in Spain.

Barca lie second in Champions League Group A with four points from two games, behind Chelsea who have six points.

They are top of the Spanish League with 10 points from four games.

Eto'o is a huge loss. He is a goal machine. Inserting Messi will lessen the impact of the loss

Anyone see Scotland beat France 1-0?

I mean, you gotta give credit to Scotland, but they played some the most unattractive football I've seen in months. Body-checking galore, 9 of their 10 players always around their own penalty area. I told myself they'd score on a penalty or corner and predictably they did.

I'm watching Chelsea vs. Reading, Chelsea's keeper, Cech, got injured in the first 30 secs . I feel horrible how he was hurt, but damn what a start.
