I've driven for probably ~5 hours without any stops for gas/food/bathroom, and I've played 18 holes of golf without cart.
One was a lot more physically demanding than the other, and it wasn't the one where I was sitting down the whole time
Like for example I can post this random link

Serious question, how many pounds of weight did you lose doing each?
I didn't keep track, but you burn ~1,400 calories playing a round of golf when you're carrying your clubs, and I seriously doubt that I burned anything close to that driving a ing car for 5 hours

I’d put it at probably 0 pound loss during your car ride because the two aren’t relatable.
Agreed. Driving car isn't physical activity and the same way playing golf is. The two aren't relatable
Agreed, but we added 1 to par's arbitrarily. It wasn't official or anything
If you added 1 to every par that would make it a par 90 course (72 + 18), so 110 would be +20, not +11.
I said arbitrarily. We all suck except 1 of us so we added between 0 and 3 to par depending on the hole. Anyways it was fun and not serious and I need more practice.
fake golf scores
equating sitting to walking several miles and swinging metal rods
derp logic and genuine imitation
this is a very good thread
If drivers are considered as athletes then what about fighter pilots and astronauts?
I've been golfing regularly for about 5 years now, it's something I could see myself doing when I'm a tosb
Walking the course, no cart, is no joke.
men are women these days and women are men, there's 50+ genders, and facts don't matter anymore so anything is possible!
jokes aside, i would most def consider both drivers and fighter pilots to be athletes but in a different genre not a traditional definition either.
BUT IT'S JUST A COUPLE OF MILES ANYONE CAN DO IT AND THEN SWING A STICK AT A BALL
hockey goalies don’t have as much value/impact as they dis back in the days
Tennis is a good choice, but sometimes you live a lonely life travelling all year. I think I would have to say soccer, as boring as that answer might be. Big bucs, safe sport, you don't have to travel too much, fun to play and practice.
Just kidding. I know that you have always wanted to be left-handed specialist, setup relief pitcher. I know how much you like baseball
Lol soccer a safe sport? Boring yeah.
Yeah, it's definitely in the safer half of the spectrum, tbh. It's nothing like the NFL, boxing, Rugby or car Racing.
Soccer is exciting if two great teams play. Like Barcelona and Real Madrid for example. Free-flowing nature of the game, teamwork, large field and little number of rule restrictions allow players to show their creativity. That's what makes soccer great. It can be boring though. The fact that game can be decided by undeserved penalty is bad too.
I know that there's baseball and soccer feud on SpursTalk. Both are great sports with great athletes but with different strengths and weaknesses. Personally, I don't find baseball entertaining because of pace of the game and the fact that ball is rarely in play. But this sport has great athletes with ridiculous skills.
But yes. Soccer can be dangerous because of air challenges, hard tackles and of course heading. The latter is the most dangerous and could lead to chronic traumatic brain injuries
that was a real reply... take the W bro. lol
lol trannies
