There...that’s sort of the nail on the head....except that the media is so ridiculous these days that they’ve come up so many unwarranted reasons to get rid of him over the past three years....now that there’s probably a legit reason, average Americans are sitting back and assuming wolf is being called.

I am astonished that Americans can have their heads buried so deep in the sand that a reasonable person can only come up with a sad conclusion for our country-

    and that is that ...

we absolutely deserve what happens to our democracy.

We absolutely deserve being destroyed from within when the citizens willfully bury their head in the sand while the country is under attack.

“The American people will see when this begins to play out publicly is

an act of corruption unprecedented in its magnitude and its severity,” Schmidt said.

    “What we see is

the president of the United States extorting a foreign head of state,

    withholding congressionally approved military assistance

to a nation that has a hot war with the Russians on the eastern front,

for the purposes of getting dirt on the president’s political opponent.”

“There has never been in the entire post-World War II period of history,

from Truman through Obama until Trump,

there has never been an act of corruption by an American president quite like this,” he added.

    “It is extraordinary and severe.”

I freely admitted to reading Wilson's tweets, though he isn't the first who used that term IIRC.

It was one of those times I asked you what your news and commentary sources are and you shut the up real quick.

What are you afraid of, Darrin?

Rick Wilson gives Democrats the perfect blueprint to shut down Jim Jordan at impeachment inquiry

    Rick Wilson
    ✔@TheRickWilson

I will max out to any member of the impeachment committee who

tells Gym Jordan to sit down

until he admits he saw in the showers and

why he covered up sexual abuse of athletes in his program.

    7:56 AM - Nov 12, 2019

    =============

    a wrestling referee claimed that

he informed Jordan and other coaches of sexual misconduct by team doctor Richard Strauss,

who was later found to have sexually abused at least 177 athletes during his tenure at OSU.

The referee is now the second person who says

they informed Jordan directly of allegations of misconduct against Strauss, who worked at OSU from 1979 to 1996.

The Mueller report showed at least four ,and arguably about nine, solid instances of felony obstruction of justice. Do multiple counts of abusing your office to obstruct justice rise to "warranting" impeachment?

Does ordering a felony -which was carried out and resulted in prison for the person who carried out the orders (cohen)

    for “individual 1” warrant impeachment?

I would say that yes, ordering the commission of felonies would meet that too. So many crimes... so little giving of s by Republicans.

Trump aides fear John Bolton's secret notes

John Bolton is the impeachment inquiry's biggest wildcard.

    People around the president say

they are worried about what notes Trump's former national security adviser has kept and when he might divulge them.

the former national security adviser was the most prolific note-taker at the top level of the White House and

probably has more details than any impeachment inquiry witness, so far, about President Trump's machinations on Ukraine.

    • "Bolton was a voracious note-taker, in every meeting," said a source who attended numerous meetings with him.
    • While others sat and listened in meetings with Trump, Bolton distinguished himself by filling legal pads with contemporaneous notes on what was said in the room.

there is no evidence that Bolton has held onto classified information.

But the unease inside the administration has been churning ever since staff learned that Bolton had signed a book deal to tell about his time working for Trump.

Bolton's book deal is worth $2 million,
per AP, which suggests he's willing to dish.

I can barely believe just how stupid this whole scandal is.

All Trump had to do was retweet John Solomon a couple times and let the TSA rubes of the world do the rest.
Does John Solomon still have a job at The Hill? He sure has clammed up since Fruman and Parnas got popped.

Bolton has reportedly said US/Turkey relations under DJT are more driven by personal and business concerns than US interests.

It gets little play in this forum, but Trumpworld shenanigans with Turkey have been far more direct, and far more dangerous/disturbing. -- than all the Russiagate stuff rolled up into one big nasty ball, just my opinion.
