And you know about champions how?
I don't get it -- how does barely squeaking out a win against a team at half strength somehow take away the asterisk? Maybe if the Spurs had won by 50, everyone could agree that Amare wouldn't have made the difference. But there is no room to doubt that the Suns would have won this game with a full team.
Sorry guys, champions are made by winning the tough games that you shouldn't win -- not by squeaking out the games you can't lose.
And you know about champions how?
Is that you Phil Jackson?
So with Phoenix up 16 in the 2nd quarter, does that mean that they shouldn't have held the lead simply because they were short 2 players?
Dolt.
Hey, the Suns would have won game 1 if Nash had been allowed to play with his nose gushing blood, and they would have won tonight if the NBA hadn't enforced the rules. Does that make the Suns the virtual western conference finalists of wouldacouldashouldaworld?
Get to work on the T shirts.
And go home and get your in' shine box.
Not sure Spurs fans should take advice from Suns fans on what it takes to be a champion...![]()
If the Suns lose, they will hold onto the asterisk excuse like the Mavs hold onto their Western Conference Champions t-shirts.
Did the Spurs, or did they not, already beat Phoenix twice in this series with both of those players healthy, to take a 2-1 lead? Including once in Phoenix?
....I'm actually at the point now where I'd prefer them over Kurt Thomas...who is proving to be a grade A pain in the ass in this series.
They don't gurantee victory...
If Horry had played tonight he would have Horry'd the Suns...so there.
which team are you referring to?
off topic but what does your avatar say?
I used to work for Alberstons and after they laid me off, corporate lied to the state and got my unemployment denied.
in hate the company.
Again with the asterisks thing. Cmon, bro, as Suns fans what good does it do us to talk about asterisks. I'll take 10 asterisks, thank you.

I live in Dallas and see people wearing those all the time!![]()
Hmm...the Suns were missing two players, so if that's half the team then they have only four players? Maybe we won by better math skills.I don't get it -- how does barely squeaking out a win against a team at half strength somehow take away the asterisk?
With a handle like "Stargazer", it'd seem that you'd like some asterisks of your own.
I didn't want to bring this out, but now I have to.

The asterisk thing is funny...
It stopped bothering us about 5 years ago...and the Suns and their fans don't do smug asshole near as well as Lakerfans, Phil, and the Shaq/Kobe Lakers.
That is one of the FUNNIEST ING THINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!
-head Phoenix Fans:
1. We beat your ing team TWICE in this series with your team at full strength
2. You had a 16 point lead dumb asses--the largest lead that either team has ever had--larger lead than the Suns ever had with Stat and Boris Diaw.
The Suns choked away a 16-point lead.
So go home and yourself.
Why do Suns fans start threads, and they don't stay around to back up what they say?
I love the door knobs. You can almost see this guy in a tie-dye t-shirt.
Why are the suspensions the spurs' fault?
any given game anything can happen, stop being a dumb nitpicker and shut up.
Cause they happened in a game against the Spurs, of course. The suspensions are on the Suns, no doubt. Saying anything more just picks off the scab....
Why Is Phill Jackson Posting Here Again. Is He Still Pissed About That One Season.
