Especially with the porosity of our O-line.
Or Sam playing like the Full Back That his body says he is.
rjv said early on said he was a player
wow... what about Locke? Are we playing some dime stuff immediately?

Locke sucked as a nickel last year. Played super well as safety vs Missouri. Stern must be that good.
I'm getting excited to see Stern play, without considering our freshmen, I was pretty sure that we had some talented DBs back there. Seeing the impact these kids make, now I'm thinking, they might be special, like Earl Thomas special.
glad to see caden get the start. the kid is a hard, hard worker and plays the game with passion. i think he can be something special for texas. and it looks as if texas may start a pipeline with steele in regards to defensive backs.
So I've been looking at Texas trying to gauge the level of talent compared to what Mack Brown had to work with. Here is what I came up with.
QB - Between 1998 and 2009, Texas was never without a high performance QB, his downfall can best be described as a failure to find a replacement for Colt. I don't see at this moment a QB on the Level of Applewhite, Simms, or McCoy. However for those that remember watching Vince in 2003 and 2004 I think we have that, a young talented guys who need to grow into the position. Talent level See 2004 Roster
RB - Our running back situation is about what we had after Jamal Charles left, we don't have a Benson, or Charles, but we have guys on the same level of Chris Ogobonnaya. Talent level See 2008 roster.
TE - A non existent positon for the better part of the last 10 years, it's been this way since 2007. Mack did have some good players Bo Scafe, Dave Thomas and of course Finley; I do see help on the way, I'd say see the 2006 roster.
WR - Top to bottom I have never seen so much talent as Texas has right now. the closest match might be the 2002 team with the Big 3, but even that group as a whole didn't have this level of talent. I'd say there is no comparison as this is the best unit I've seen at Texas.
Oline - Mack peaked out on the oline in 2005 and 2006. After than we never had the same level. Our line today, has potential but is paper thin, One or two injuries and we are looking at a patch work like last year. compare to the 2010 unit.
Dline - This is a very strong unit, it is a bit thin at the DT, but it is long on talent, pound for pound this line is every bit as good as any Mack had, compare it to the 2008 line.
LB - Again, Mack had some great individual players of course we have nothing today that matches Derrick Johnson, but I think the starters are better than most units Mack put on the field, again Compare it to the 2005 linebackers.
DB - This is a hard group to judge, Texas has had so many great DBs and units, but this unit reminds me a log of the 2001 DBs with Rod Babers, and Quintin Jammer
Thoughts?
Yeah to me that's an ass whip.

Theft between $2500-3500.
I think it's a felony charge.....might have to check.
So it looks like our starting RB is gonna be out and our QB sucks. Nice.
Cash, illegal practices and S&C problems?
Oh my.
Without even one single game played? The seat got hot before he’s even had a chance to sit in it.
