So basically those 11 cases were transferred from the cruise for Quarantine orders and 145 people in total under quarantine on the base?

smh
First had the symptoms on Feb 19^
Wonder if they'll ship them off to Nebraska like they did the others.
Washington state holding a press conference at 10 to discuss multiple cases there
Exactly... they are evacuees already under quarantine, not surprise cases.
I hope 100 million in the country get it (remember, 2% mortality rate, and that's in a second-to-third world country) and the economy tanks for awhile so I finally get my recession
It's basically just another flu. Similar mortality rate and symptoms.
Note that most recessions usually correspond with a pandemic. See, 2009 Swine flu pandemic.
Kid was in class sick
These aren't "new".
I'll settle for the idiots at the Trump rally saying this is a hoax.
It's a 2 percent mortality rate. It's no worse than the standard seasonal flu. Almost all of the deaths are the geriatric, babies, medically compromised, and those who don't know how to recover from a cold (don't drink fluids, don't get enough sleep, refuse OTC medicine etc).
A flu doesn't immediately put you in a hospital bed.
The guy who blewed the whistle on the virus was in his early 30s and he's dead.
Yeah it is actually worse than the seasonal flu as the mortality rate for that is 0.1%

Washington State has had its own independent Norovirus outbreak this year so idk why they’re announcing “presumptive” cases without knowing first.
Are you claiming that people who get the normal seasonal flu have a 1 in 50 chance at dying
We can all hope he catches it...
...and immediately is hit by a truck afterwards.
