@ James Anderson : Michael Redd
@ James Anderson : Michael Redd
the only one i kinda agree with is matrix and kawhi
Agree with Gary Neal:Billups, only with the clutchness. Kawhi Leonard will be more successful than that nig.
The only way the young players are going to improve is if they put the time in the gym. Blair's had 3 years and his game really hasn't gotten better. If anything he seems to have regressed. Milsap put the work in to get to where he is.
Chauncey?
Were these names picked out of a hat?
Damn, how did Pop lose any games with Billups, Redd, Marion, Noah, Milsap and Battier playing support roles?
I see Blair more as a prime Barkley, Splitter as prime Ewing, Neal as prime Reggie Miller, Leonard as prime Pippen, Anderson as prime Drexler, Green as the next coming of MJ and Bonner as prime Steve Novak.
^ someone's supposed to laugh, right?
^ I did
But then I think one or two of them might be a tad bit overrated, Bonner definitely.
Jesus.
I could write for that group. So could chimps and other primates.
Forget the comparisons, its just awful stuff.
We staaaaaaaaaaaaaaacked.
bleacher is a nice way to kill some time, when no interesting stuff is left to read on real pages. that said, you shouldnt take 90% of the stuff serious...its just like reading on some random board, that timvp is not part of!
my favorite bleacher-rep was, when 1-2 years ago someone wrote about bad contracts and included "Outlaw" in it. so whats the problem u think? he thought its "Bo Outlaw" and not "Travis Outlaw" spending a whole slide on telling us, that such an old dude probably is overpaid, but may surprise us after all.
bleacher report is for casual nba fans tbh
Bonner is the next Dirk.
Kori and LJ,
any insider dope on Blairs knees?
Would expect Spurs to be very tight lipped about this.
I've got to believe they are on the decline thus the explanation for his dropoff.
They should have looked at another Clipper for the Neal comparisson.
I'm wearing Dockers tbh
@ Blair : defensive beast
@ Neal : Chauncey Billups, excellent ballhandler
@ Splitter : lacks a strong offensive game
That's the one that stood out to me as the worst of a very horrific group of comparisons.
Must be that Spurs hater Lakecruise on Bleacher report under a new alias.

Green=Kobe - streaky shooter with overrated defense.
Oh yeah Splitters the next Kareem....
Of course he's not Kareem, but he's no offensive slouch either. He struggled at the beginning of the year, but that was after no training camp in what is essentially his rookie season (since Pop wouldn't let him off the damn bench last year). But once he's been able to find his groove, he's been one of the Spurs most efficient scorers and has, at times, been depended upon to carry the bench's offense.
Sure, 9.2 points a game doesn't seem impressive, but he's doing that in limited minutes (19.9 MPG) as a 4th or 5th option on offense, and shooting at an incredible clip (.602 FG%), which ranks second in the NBA behind only Tyson Chandler. His Per 48 averages of 22.1 PPG would rank him in the Top 10 of scoring among centers. He's greatly adept at rolling to the basket and finishing at the rim, and while his offense may be kinda ugly, it's damn effective.
