I didn't like the Legacy pick since that's already taken in Mansfield.
Good point on Earl, seems like they whiffed on a huge softball there.
Don't understand the timing on this one. Seems odd.
I think he met Broughton and Collins.
Hate to see anyone leave, luck to him where ever he winds up.
Another space for this years recruits.
Yeah, along with the normal training, the August camp is going to be used as an defacto evaluation period the way spring training was suppose to be, which normally led to the June-July transfers.
He outgrew the DE position in a 4 man front and he's not going to move inside with Collins, Broughton, Colburn, Sweat, etc and see any meaningful playing time for a long time. With the move to 4 man DL, Warren became a tweener and turned into a developmental player.
Yeah, I hate to see anyone move on but if they are going to have a decent size 2021 recruiting class, they're going to have to have more attrition.
Big 10 leadership about to discuss canceling season
I can come up with 19 if Cosmi goes pro. and Brown has to go medical. Any one else is just a crap shoot or any one guess.
So 20 or close seems to be a good number.
Not to make this too political, but they must be watching the national news broadcast daily. I'd be scared to death if I watched it.
Using the inside Texas 2020 football chart and the recent Warren news i can come up with 22 potential scholarships. That number could get up to 24 to 26 with additional transfers or early departures:
Sam Ehlinger - Sr
Daniel Young - Sr
Derrian Brown. Medical
Tarik Black - Sr
Cade Brewer - Sr
Tope Imade - Sr
Derek Kerstetter - Sr
Denzel Okafor - Sr
Sam Cosmi - Early depart
Marqez Bimage - Sr
Taquon Graham - Sr
Jacoby Jones - Sr
Peter Mpagi - Medical
Myron Warren - Transfer
Russell Hine - Walkon
Cort Jaquess - Walkon
Luke Brockermeyer - Walkon
De'Gabriel Floyd - Retirement
Hank Coutoumanos - Walkon
Chris Brown - Sr
Kobe Boyce - Retirement
Justin Mader - Walkon
22 total
Joseph Ossai - Poss early depart (I hope not)
Montrell Estell - Poss grad transfer
Daniel Carson - Poss transfer
Keaontay Ingram. Poss early depart (highly doubt it, but if he has a big year it's possible)
26 potential. 24 seems possible, but that's just my prediction.
Thanks for posting. I bet it's pretty close to 25 when it's all said and done. If we have a season, enjoy Ossai's last year. He gone..
so... you are assuming that juniors Hine, Jacquess and Mader along with soph Brockermeyer are all going to have their scholly pulled or transfer? I dont know. Are walkon schollys still one year contracts?
Carson, Estell, Boyce, Mpagi, Floyd and Brown were already attrition candidates the way I saw it. Coutoumanos is a senior so he is already counted with the 11 graduate attritions.
Warren is the one that kind of surprised me at this point. I thought he would try and make the transition
Cosmi is the only likely NFL attrition that I see right now. Of course that can change with a great season and individual effort.
It still looks like they will have to have (several) more attrition to have a decent size 2021 class

Read some where that Herman said P. Mpagi and J. Whittington would be ready for first pratice. Sure Estelle wants diploma might grad. transfer.
At one time there was 87 on possible ships Boyce down to 86 if memory serves me ok. Floyd down to 85 Warren if he goes will be 84. Roster on this board is usually more up to date.
All ships are now on a one year basis now read this some where might be wrong. Any one else commenr?
yeah, I read somewhere that Whittington is hurt again but should be ready either for two-a-days or season or conference play; I cant remember which.
yes, On other boards, I think people spend way too much time counting back and forward when it's all about the 85 man limit by next September (2021) for recruiting purposes.
