Murray will get less. The team needs someone with a better feel for the game, can spread the ball around & make shots when needed.
Actually, they need someone to grab some boards. Maybe Murray will keep his minutes at a different position.
My sentiments before. But Murray has been proving me wrong. Murray can still lead the transition offense, while White set-up the half-court. But whatever it is, it doesn’t hurt to have another facilitator, create offense and pkay great defense. Lonnie has been playing aggressive also and hopefully he will take the challenge of scoring for the 2nd unit, and not feel like it’s a demotion. With Lonnie, Mills, Vassell and Gay, our 2nd unit has enough firepower to extend the lead. Good stuff.

If the Spurs are winning games, I don't think he'll change the rotation much. There's still a really good chance Lyles takes the starting PF job from Johnson and Keldon becomes the backup SF. That would squeeze the rotation even more.
There is 0 chance of lyles starting spurs are going to play small ball lyles didn’t even get 3rd string minutes last night

Man, the Chapelle show was incredible while it was running before Dave took off/cancelled it. So many people watched it and usually talked about it the next day at work. Even people you wouldn't expect watch it seemed to really like it/love it. I haven't followed/watched any of his stuff in years. Is Chapelle still just as good as the old days?

He’s done about 5 or so specials on Netflix and while they all had their moments, the last 2 - ‘The Bird Equanimity’ and ‘Sticks and Stones’, IMHO was some of the best material I’ve seen him perform. Truly worth taking out a months sub to watch. Let me know if you get around to watching it, love to know what you think.

Thanks. I will try and watch them in the upcoming weeks when I have some time. Still busy at work right now, but hopefully mid/late January, I should have more time to try and watch them. If you're saying he's better than ever, then definitely worth me diving back into some of his new material.

I think these are good ideas, and it will be interesting to see how it all mixes together. I think my challenge with there being a plan is that because our young players are still developing so much it isn't clear what they are capable of and what role serves them best. The first four games has opened my eyes to Murray. For offense, he is showing me skills I didn't think he could pull off. And for the others, it will be interesting to see how they move forward, specifically Keldon and IV. In short, I think it's going to be chaotic out there but a learning process for much of the team to see what everyone is capable of.

White coming of the bench is the best fit at the moment.

No way Dejounte gets his Mins cuts when he been easily our 2nd best player.

Lamo Y'all were complaing about Lonnie not starting last year and now that he is, you want to cut him. Dude is giving us 14ppg, while being the our best 3 pt shooter. He a starter.

If White shows the same aggression he had last year in the bubble, it wouldn't matter if he was starting or not, he'll score. Plus him in the 2nd unit, makes that whole unit better. He becomes the primary ball handler, allow the other guys do there stuff.

I would hope not. I still think its going to be Murray, White, Johnson, DDR, & LMA once White gets fully get integrated. I don't think Lyles is going to play more than spot minutes here and there.

The Spurs are paying Murray and White like their going to be staring backcourt of the future. They should both start once White gets fully integrated. I think Johnson will continue to start with Walker getting a chance to create with the second unit.

I'm ok with IV starting or being part of the second unit. I just don't want his minutes to go down. He needs to be out there to get experience, bottom line.

We also Have to allow the development of the younger players and see where they fit. Even tho, he's only 26, Derek can be considered one of the Veterans on the team.

Its time to See if Dejounte can run an offense and see what he has, like i posted in the Dejounte post, even tho it's been 4 games, Dejounte is playing at an eltie game, 19 pts, 7 Rebs/Ast. Even if he only averages, 15-16 pgs, with 7 rebs and 5 Ast that still solid, right under All-start production.

Lonnie easily has the highest upside, and as the ability to be a go to score, let him start and develop into that go to score. He's Averaging 14 pts pers on 12 shots, while shooting over 40 % from 3 and averaging 6 shots, if he increase his shoots per game to 16-16 he can easily score 18-20 pts per game.

keldon has hit a small road block, but the upside is still there, he needs to make a few adjustments and plus he got good size guard 3s

Lol. Old ways? It was literally 12 games ago that lineup started for the 1st time.

Not the line-up per say, but the idea of relying on certain players who clearly are not good anymore

White needs to start seeing as he is the only one who looks like he can get LMA engaged. But also Mills and Gay are just gunners off the bench and jacking up shots galore. White doesn’t fit as well with them as people think. I think Lonnie should come off the bench, even though I like how he is playing. But you just don’t pay White that kinda money for him to come off the bench. This isn’t a Manu/Tony thing. Neither player is as good as those 2 and our starters need better defense than they’ve been playing.

If they're going to continue to start small, then Johnson remaining a starter is a must since he's the only one whose remotely capable of defending big wings/fours.

Who knows if it'll happen right away (depends on whether White is on a minutes limit/restriction), but eventually Walker more than likely moves to the bench by default.
