No Bowen?
So guys, with all specualtion, draft picks from past and preente, free agents, I was wondering what could be the perfect roster for the spurs next season. Mine perosnally would be something like this:
Parker/Hill (Him taking full charge of the backup pg position)

Oh right! jaja darn I forgot...rather would have him that williams, but definetly Hairston over him. I have econsidered other players, but I think that it is one of the most plausible options.

Id rather not. I would love to see someone like Gist, Marion, Batum or Sefolosha but I dont see any of them happen.

Jajaja. Actually another scenario I had forgotten was trading for Chandler and buying their 21st pick or trading for it. Then we could afford a quality wing player with the Mid level exception. If Bowen went on that trade then New Orleans Buying him out and him coming for his last season jajaja.

I know Maggette has a re ed contract but I was reading how Warriors fans think they are going to try to trade him. A lot were mentioning trading Maggette to the Spurs for Bowen and Thomas, then the Warriors would buy out both players and they could retun to SA for the vet minimum.

I think the Spurs should go with the old guys one last time. Everyone. Vaughn and Oberto. Finley and Thomas. They say with age comes wisdom, and these players by now must be nearly Zen masters of basketball wisdom. Who needs athletics? The Spurs verterans can simply out-think and "do the little things" so well that opposing teams will collapse in amazement.
