Holy I was about to start a thread about Kareem
He's very similar to Duncan.. and is in my opinion one of the most underrated and forgotten about stars in NBA history. He created the single most dominant move in the game. Sure the Dream Shake was pretty, but it wasn't as effective as the sky hook.
Straight taking Wilt to school ^
Holy I was about to start a thread about Kareem
lol no he's not a cuck
He wouldn't interview without being compelled to do so. But, it was an openly racist Media then, unlike now where the racism is suppressed. So Media punished him during his career & then took their vengeance after he retired. He understood Media for the vermin they were & are, but, he paid a price for that opine and the behaviors that it wrought.
No. He's listed as probably in the top 5 all time. He played too long for the short attention span crowd who thinks a person's worth is dictated by their peak, not by the body of their work.
Do tell Swearengen.

* Blocked stats are collected from archive newspapers articles (as most of the data), NBA doesn't kept track of blocked shots before 1973/74 season. I find in the forum info about Wilt blocked 8 shots in game 1 of 1971/72 regular season, but I was not able to find evidence in google news archive search,so again I do not post it.
Kareem?......no way. I'll tell you the guy that is the most underrated player of All Time and he is Top 10 in points and rebounds and longevity but doesn't have a lot of les....he's up there with the MJ, Magic, Kobe, Kareem, Duncan, Wilt, Russell, Hakeem, Shaq, Bird,..ect.....his name is Moses Malone.
Holy .
Kareem missed a lot of shots for a dominant big
Guessing Wilt just had that much of an effect on his game...seeing as his career FG % is freakishly high (56%)
at the end of the day it doesnt matter if you post up monster stats but dont win
only thing those players are doing is ac ulating total stats, then revisionists will go back and lay a on them why they couldnt get wins with those type of seasonal stats...
theres 3-4 idiots on tha top25 lists that i always have a problem with, guys who are known to be stat padders then coming up short with alot of bull excuses, whether its selfish play or blaming the roster they are dealt with....
any good player on a bad team will look like a statpadder. sometimes its difficult to judge people in ty situations. somebody with your standards would call anthony davis a stat padder just because his team is ty and they can't win
Kareem is crazy underrated when everyone keeps picking Bill Russell over him. I can't believe the guy played 20 years in the age before arthroscopic surgery, before getting drafted at 19, before teams gave a about conditioning, etc. He may be an asshole, but what a work ethic to dominate that long in the pre-HGH era.
Ugh, Cat at it again... a guy rightfully considered a top 5 player all time is the most underrated ever?... you may as well claim pussy choker Jerry West over Kobe
Kareem was a physical freak
And once in a while he would join that Lakers fastbreak
WTF
big-market players can hardly be underrated, imho.
if a lakerfan ever calls the spurs/duncan boring, have them watch any 5 minute highlight reel of kareem. snoozefest
Wilt is the first monkeyballer. Look at him desperately block Kareem's sky hooks
wans't wilt approaching TOSB when kareem was a young buck (no pun intended)
Truth bomb. If the media liked him, no way would they say MJ was the GOAT.
It's too bad he won't get his due. Even Magic (GOAT PG) never won without him.
