That doubt he is truly hurt....... But if he is, it's not uncommon for basketball players to have strains/pulls.

He can handle the ball better than most of our current players, will need seasoning which is to be expected. Good size and will only get bigger/stronger. The kid seems really intelligent and polished for such a young man. I like him and a lot of people will come around to this pick moving forward...... ( 2 to 3 years if not sooner ) He will be ready much more than walkers/murrays of the world.

I'm not ready to crown him; not ready to crown his ass (RIP Dennis Green), but not a bad debut at all.

I like what I can imagine Young Cuzzo becoming.

I like that they gave him PG responsibilities and he didn't look overwhelmed. He's going to be a problem when he grows into his man body.

I feel like we can already tell he's a PG.

I hope he grows 2.5 more inches and fills out.

Wait how can you tell he’s a point guard? Cause he played point in his first summer league game full of scrubs? He’s prob gonna be 6’7 to 6’8 in a couple of years. He’s a 2 - 3 In this league with handles and a jump shot.

From the little I've seen his jump shot really does seem to be the real deal. I don't know if he'll ever be the defender that Murray/White/Walker&Keldon(well not that they're all world)/Vassell are but he probably will have a smoother 3 ball than all of them.

I meant that he looks natural at it. It's one thing to be a 2-guard that gets assists. Primo may very well be inclined to run the point.

If he gets big, even better.

This. Walker is okish one on one (on the rare nights he tries), but is absolutely abysmal at help defense.

I like Primo from what i've seen, but let's see how good he plays when he's expected to shoot 90% from the field. Once he misses 2 open 3s and popovich pulls him and benches him for 3 games, I want to see his response to that.

IIRC Wright talked about scouting him as a PG or something to that effect.

He talked about how he was versatile enough to handle the ball like a PG, not that he scouted him as a PG

Primo and Wieskamp look so close in height (near the end of the video it shows them standing to each other)

Freeze it at 53 seconds and you can see Weiskamp has 2 or so inches on Primo at the shoulder.
