While I agree that college kids do stupid , this recent aggressive behavior based on ideology is different. And it seems to mostly come from leftist students unable to cope with ideas that conflict with their own.
I went to college when Clinton was running for president. There were college democrats and college republicans, but no crazy hostility.
As I said, there were fewer kids overall back then. You were at one college with no social media.
