Wouldn't that's how much I like them. It's more how much I think they should be part of the team's long-term plans.

No disrespect to Tre, I just don't know enough about him yet...
Does your list reflect players who you think are the most promising? If not, is it because you like their character? Why?
Poll options were limited to 10 maximum, therefore I had to eliminate two young players (Metu and Eubanks). Sorry if they were your most favorite...

Same thing with how I arranged my list. Though with Keldon it's also because I ing love the guy.
I didn't see a forbes option, is he 27 already?
Correct.

New guys are last, because...new
He’s also not on the roster. Didn’t play one second in the bubble, and QOs have been extended to fill the roster to 15. He didn’t get one.
What do you see in Weatherspoon that has you put him above Walker, Samanic, and Murray?
Every time he stepped on the court, his IQ was miles better than anything Walker, Samanic, and ESPECIALLY Murray have displayed. The only issues with him right now are his reluctance to shoot 3's. He can nail them, but it was obvious he was intimidated by Pop.
Also, his defense is amazing. His hands are quick and he stays in front of his man.
It's not like I think his upside is better than any of those three, but right now, his IQ makes him way more fun to watch. Key words: right now.
With the obvious joke out of the way, Keldon should be consensus number 1, only because White's inconsistency is something keldon has not shown as a rookie. White is a finished product i fear and the team will be pushing Murray this year over him (and has whenever Murray is healthy)
I really like D White, but Keldon will be White's age in 2025. That's half a decade to grow & improve. I hope they stay together as a tandem.

Zero faith in our big men. It is incredibly dumb how many promising guards are on this roster considering the dearth of bigs.

I would put Metu at 6 and push everyone else down. Eubanks with walker.

Rare Pokemon sighting... A #1 Dejounte-fan!
White - biggest sample size, has shown the goods to step into larger role.
Walker - arguably highest ceiling of the group, seems to be Pop’s whipping boy/coached hardest - usually good sign of trajectory.
KJ - tenacity/toughness, some things on college tape/ scouting report haven’t had a chance to manifest themselves yet due to small sample
on the big team eg. How does he handle shooting slumps, can he be consistent shooter across a season?
Dejounte - love his passion, hope the I.Q, intangibles start to measure up
Lyles - see the Boris Diaw comparisons, love the assertion he started to show in March. All tools for a 4 are there.
The rest I could chop and change depending on the day of the week.
Love Tre’s game - Coach K called him best PG in draft and CBS said some scouts agreed.
The guys’ athletic profile over the last year has changed dramatically.
He was looking like Cole Anthony with vision and less of a handle in workouts.
DJM would be my number 1 but what KJ did in the bubble and also in the G league plus his personality put him at the top.
1. Keldon Johnson - easy call as number 1, he was tough in the bubble, looks a lot stronger and is already a solid finisher at the rim
2. Derrick White - Impressive in the bubble and of course I love his defense, Will it continue though?
3. Devin Vassell - Excited for him because he's a rookie
4. Lonnie Walker - Most explosive but has trouble finishing at the rim, if he just puts it together he can be everyone's fav. Also his individual defense is impressive but team defense is pretty bad.
5. Dejounte Murray - Improved mid range and taking more threes. Need even more and why they is his handle so loose he's a PG?
6. Luka Samanic - Haven't seen much, jury is still out but I don't think it's looking good
7. Jakob Poetl - Meh, he's a finished product, don't hate him don't love him
8. Quinndary Weatherspoon - Q is a good defender which I love but the dude hates shooting 3s. Got to get over that or he won't last long
9. Tre Jones - curious to see if his D will translate to the NBA and where the he's going to be able to get some PT.
10. Trey Lyles - One of the worst starting PFs in the league IMO, when he was starting
Murray so low on all of these list
Only player to reach a second contract out of the young players...
Only player to make an all nba team...
Only player to start every game sandwhiched between two of the statistical worse defenders in basketball, Derozan and Forbes...
When he wasn't on the floor we were an all time bad defensive team statistically
Keldon played a handful of games in his rookie year and he is somehow better than Murray...
Walker can't even stay on the floor for 5 straight minutes without getting in foul trouble or ing up on defense but he is somehow better than murray...
I got him number one on my list because none of these other young players other than Derrick White have had any real consistent role on this team yet...
I wonder what Keldon metrics would look like if you told him he had to play between Derozan and Forbes AND he had to guard the other teams best perimeter player...
1. Keldon
2. White
3. Walker
4. Vassell
5. Murray
6. Samanic
7. Poeltl
8. Jones
9. Weatherspoon
10. Lyles
Murray really hasn’t done anything since that rookie year, with the All D selection. His vision isn’t great, and he’s pretty terrible at finishing at the rim.
I feel like Murray is the most likely to be moved. The rest fit, even if from the bench, but Murray doesn't have a great well-rounded skill set like the others are developing. Derrick White is the straw that stirs the drink -- the reason we struggled last year is because he was having a down year. If he struggles again, the team will struggle, although having another legit PG option in Jones will help. Murray is just a jagged fit into a puzzle that is coming together.
